Virtue Asia and Goldfinch team up to launch V47 Entertainment
MUMBAI: Virtue Asia has joined forces with Goldfinch International to unveil V47 Entertainment, a branded entertainment studio designed to help brands move from traditional advertising into culture shaping storytelling. The venture aims to create entertainment built to travel across Asia, Mena and the wider Global South, regions fast emerging as cultural powerhouses.
Positioned at the crossroads of creativity, culture and capital, V47 Entertainment will help brands build their own entertainment properties across films, series, microdramas, anthology formats, animation, live experiences and creator driven universes. The studio promises to shift brand thinking from short term media bursts to long term cultural value.
Virtue Asia CEO Lesley John, said the launch comes at a moment when audiences want brands to contribute meaningfully to culture rather than interrupt it. She noted that as AI speeds up functional marketing tasks, entertainment will become the next frontier for relevance, giving brands a chance to create worlds and stories that audiences choose to spend time with.
The collaboration pairs Virtue Asia’s cultural intelligence and brand strategy with Goldfinch’s global production network and financing capabilities. Together, they aim to build entertainment IP with scale, resonance and strong commercial potential.
Goldfinch COO and co-founder Phil McKenzie, said V47 represents a blend of the industry’s most exciting shifts, particularly the rise of the Global South and new shared ownership models for entertainment. He added that building distribution, storytelling and brand involvement from the start creates content with both creative impact and built in monetisation.
Goldfinch International founding partner Justin Deimen, said the partnership reflects a belief that the next wave of global entertainment will come from new alliances and new cultural hubs. V47 Entertainment chairman David Webster, said the venture gives brands a seat at the creative table as true collaborators in film, series and emerging formats.
V47 will channel brand investment into entertainment that draws from music, gaming, live events, film, television and creator economies. Instead of adding brands at the final stage, each project integrates them directly into the story’s DNA.
The first slate, to be revealed in early 2026, is already under development. It includes two unscripted docu series, a live event series, a microdrama, an original competition format and an animation project. Each title aims to showcase V47’s core philosophy: merging cultural insight with premium production to create stories that last.
Beyond the initial lineup, V47 plans to launch a branded entertainment fund and content accelerator, turning brand investment into entertainment assets that can scale across markets and platforms.
