India Today to host key Moscow forum ahead of Putin visit
NEW DELHI: India Today is taking its diplomacy lens overseas with an exclusive, high-powered roundtable in Moscow ahead of president Vladimir Putin’s forthcoming visit to India. The event, organised in association with luxury real estate group BnW Developers, aims to decode the many layers of the India–Russia partnership through a series of sharp, sector-led conversations.
Energy will anchor the discussions, with leading voices from Russian oil, gas, nuclear, renewables, mining and critical minerals offering insights into how the two nations can deepen long-term collaboration. With India increasing its footprint in Russia’s energy ecosystem, the timing could not be more relevant.
The forum will also spotlight life for Indians in Russia, bringing together community leaders, cultural groups and business associations to paint a candid picture of a diaspora that continues to grow in numbers and confidence. Another session turns the spotlight on students. Representatives from the Association of Indian Students in Russia and top universities will discuss safety, academic experience and whether Russia still holds its appeal for medical and technical education.
Given the strategic heartbeat of the relationship, defence will take centre stage too. Industry leaders from Russia’s defence, aviation and technology sectors will join Indian entrepreneurs from pharmaceuticals, FMCG, IT, engineering, logistics, textiles and tea to explore wider industrial synergies and new commercial pathways.
India Today will cover the entire Moscow roundtable across its platforms with expert takes, exclusive interviews and live updates, leading straight into its on-ground coverage of president Putin’s visit to India.
