L&T names Koneru Bhavani and P Ramakrishnan as vice presidents
MUMBAI: Larsen & Toubro has promoted two veterans to its senior management ranks, signalling continuity at the top of India’s biggest engineering group.
In a regulatory filing to the BSE on Wednesday, the company said Koneru Bhavani and P Ramakrishnan have been elevated to senior vice president roles with effect from January 1, 2026.
Bhavani takes charge as senior vice president and head of the heavy civil infrastructure business. A civil engineer by training, she has spent nearly three decades at L&T Construction, shaping marquee urban transit projects spanning metro rail, high-speed rail and complex tunnelling. She currently leads the urban transit strategic business group and sits on the board of L&T Geostructure.
Ramakrishnan, a chartered accountant with over 33 years at the group, has been promoted as senior vice president overseeing corporate accounts, taxation and investor relations. A former CFO of L&T Technology Services, he has held senior finance roles across divisions and represents the group on multiple boards, including the Bombay Chambers of Commerce & Industry.
The appointments, effective immediately, underline L&T’s preference for deep internal talent as it sharpens execution across infrastructure and financial stewardship.
