ISST founder Dr. Vipul Lunawat recognised at CII sports business awards 2025

NEW DELHI: Dr. Vipul Lunawat, founder director of the Institute of Sports Science & Technology (ISST), was presented with the Jury Special Mention at the CII Sports Business Awards 2025 for the institute’s university sports program. The recognition underscores ISST’s commitment to advancing sports education and shaping the next generation of professionals in India’s sporting sector.

The CII Sports Business Awards, now in their third year, celebrate organisations, institutions, brands and individuals driving innovation, leadership and impact across the country’s sports ecosystem. The awards are presented alongside the flagship CII ScoreCard Conclave, a high-profile industry gathering focused on sports policy, business and ecosystem development.

ISST was recognised alongside some of India’s most influential names in sports, including Haryana Steelers, Shiv Naresh, The Sports School Bengaluru, Sheru Aangrish (Founder, Sheru Classic), Sidhhant Agarwal (Founder, SportVot), Manoj Badale (Lead Owner, Rajasthan Royals), Preeti Jhangiani (Founder, Pro Panja League), Tata Steel and Indian Oil Corp Limited, the Paralympic Committee of India, and the GoSports Foundation.
