MUMBAI: TV Today CEO Joy Chakraborthy has decided to move on after a short stint of seven months.
India Today Group CEO Ashish Bagga confirmed to Indiantelevision.com that Chakraborthy has put in his papers today.
When contacted, Chakraborthy said he has resigned because of personal reasons. “I took this decision because I had to stay away from my family, which is based in Mumbai,” he said.
Chakraborthy had joined TV Today Network on 1 December last year after ending his tenure with Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd as executive director – revenue and niche channels.
