MUMBAI: Twitter is nailing down a $100 million fresh funding that would set its valuation at $1 billion.
New York-based venture capital firm Insight Venture Partners is leading a consortium of new and existing investors. |
Twitter had earlier in the year secured $35 million from Benchmark Capital and Institutional Venture Partners, valuing the micro-blogging site at $250 million. The other new investor is T Rowe Price. Old investors Spark Capital and Institutional Venture Partners also participated in this new round of funding. |
