Cert-in to get director to handle cyber security







NEW DELHI: The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-IN) is to get a director to handle the infrastructure and respond speedily to complaints and situations.

 













The creation of a post of this nature was approved by the Union Cabinet at its meeting here today.



The aim of the creation of this post is to ensure reactive and proactive services; security awareness programmes, and security audit of government organisations.

 

This will also enable creation of critical infrastructure for enforcing and enhancing cyber security measures.
