    MUMBAI: This week, IBN7’s award-winning reality show Zindagi LIVE discusses whether convicted murderers deserve a second chance at life. In this episode, we meet a victim of domestic abuse who killed her husband and a man who killed his wife for having felt betrayed among others, and try to address these issues.     Zindagi Live: The Menace of Eve-Teasing

    This week, IBN7’s award-winning reality show Zindagi LIVE highlights the need to look at the menace of ‘eve-teasing’ more seriously and responsibly. This episode takes up the infamous 2011 Keenan-Reuben murder case, which resulted in the deaths of two young men who tried to protect their friends from being sexually harassed.

    Zindagi LIVE gets the parents of the boys to speak on camera and gives you a firsthand account of the incident through a friend who was present at the crime scene. The episode also highlights the apathy of onlookers who refused to extend any help.

    IBN7 readies to launch third season of ‘Zindagi Live’

    MUMBAI: Hindi news channel IBN7 is set to bring back the third season of its popular talk show Zindagi Live. Starting 18 October, the show will go on air every Sunday at 8 pm.

    The series will commence with special episode on ‘On-screen Bhagwans’ that will feature Arun Govil who portrayed Sri Ram in Ramayana, Nitish Bharadawaj who played Sri Krishna in Mahabharata, Dhriti who was the playful Makhanchor of Jai Sri Krishna along with Mukul Naag, the Sai Baba in the serial Sai Baba Tere Hazaron Haath.

    The four ‘TV Gods’ will talk about how their lives changed after playing these characters.

    Zindagi Live, in its third season, will take bigger subjects, untouched issues and a sensitive and compassionate approach to bring forth sensitive topics that have never been discussed on Indian television, the channel said in a release.

    Some of the topics that will be discussed this season include the life of Bollywood stars’ duplicates, extraordinary lives of people after retirement, life of a stuntman, terrorism suspects who were actually innocent, victims of ragging, and unusual entrepreneurs.

    IBN7 managing editor Ashutosh said, “Zindagi Live is not just another talk show, what makes it different is its sincerity that has no parallel while communicating to the viewer. The show is one such example where the ‘emotional connect’ of the presenter has turned the show into an intense powerhouse of emotions.”

    IBN 7 to refurbish Sunday programming with fresh shows

    MUMBAI: IBN7 is refurbishing its Sunday programming from 9 March with ‘IBN7 Super Sundays’. The 360 degree approach of programming will provide news, issues, information, technology, sports, children, lifestyle, entertainment and reality.

    “IBN7 Super Sundays’ is an integral part of IBN7’s overall new look – both visual and editorial. From news, talk shows, to entertainment and sports, IBN 7 on Sundays will have it all and more,” said IBN7 managing editor Ashutosh.

    As part of ‘IBN7 Super Sundays’, the channel will air an interactive show IBN7 Junior at 11:30 am. With current affairs, sports, entertainment and world events, it is aimed at keeping the young audience informed about the events and news of the week.

    At 1:30, Tech Mantra is a guide from and about the gizmo world. Sunday Shopping at 2.30 pm will showcase the newest trends, latest styles and hippest new stores for the viewers followed by The Citizen Journalist Show.

    Starting 29 March, at 10 pm the channel will telecast a docu-drama series ‘Bawandar’ which will showcase series of epic cases in the jurisdiction of independent India that shook and changed the entire judiciary system of the country . It will reconstruct for viewers some of the biggest crimes from across the nation.

    The ‘Super Sunday’ at 11:30 pm will round up with ‘Sunday Ka Tadka’ which will provide a round up of the entertainment and glamour news of the entire week. It will focus on all news from Bollywood, Hollywood, the glamour world and showcase the latest trends and controversies, the events, the parties, film premieres, music launches and controversies.

    Besides, IBN7 has retained its existing feature programmes like Zindagi Live , Top Drive, Bouncer and Hot Seat on Sunday.

  • IBN 7’s ‘Zindagi Live’ launches a microsite

    MUMBAI: IBN 7’s recently launched talk show Zindagi Live has launched a microsite on IBNLive.com. The microsite will also have a blog section of the anchor Richa Anirudh who will write about what viewers can expect in future episodes and the audience response.

    The microsite features show schedule, streaming videos of episodes of Zindagi Live and offers a platform for viewers to share their experiences with the channel.

    Viewers can log in and submit their detail as well as their story. Besides, viewers can also send e-mails with their personal accounts that they would like to share on the show at zindagilive@ibnlive.com.

    On the microsite, one can also have a sneak peek into subjects to be discussed in forthcoming episode and a list of all the topics to be discussed in future shows. Those interested in being a part of the show’s interactive audience can also sign up at the microsite.

    Besides the show is also accessible to its viewers via mobile and landline. They can SMS their feedback and suggestions to the shortcode.
