    Sci-fi thriller ‘Time Story’ premiere on 30 Dec at 8pm

    MUMBAI: What if you had an opportunity to go back in time, set things right and return to the present day? Science-fiction movies make us believe that nothing is impossible. Time travel is one of the most unusual concepts being explored in contemporary films these days and has the narrative to entertain audiences. Zee Cinema, world’s largest theatre for Hindi movies brings the blockbuster sci-fi drama ‘Time Story’ on Friday, 30th December, 2016 at 8:00 PM.

    Time Story, a blockbuster hit was widely appreciated for its superlative action. The film promises power-packed drama with the backdrop of jaw-dropping VFX.

    Directed by Vikram Kumar, ‘Time Story’ stars South Indian superstar Suriya in triple roles. The film starts with Dr. Sethuram (Suriya), a scientist, who leads a happy life with his wife Priya (Nithya Menen) and newborn son Mani. His invents a watch that helps the wearer travel back and forth in time for 24 hours. His evil brother Athreya (Suriya) grows greedy for the watch and Sethuram’s family is destroyed into pieces. Athreya kills Priya in the process while Sethuram runs with Mani, to save their life. He hands over Mani to Sathyabama (Saranya Ponvannan), a stranger in the train while escaping from his brother. Sathyabama takes a promise of taking care of Mani, all her life. Sethuram loses his life in a fight with Athreya, who also gets severely injured. The film takes an interesting turn when Mani grows up (now Suriya) and sets on a journey to set things right after finding his father’s watch and his quest to find the truth takes him back and forth in time.

    Will Mani be able to find the truth about his father’s death? Can he go back in time to live happily ever after?

    Aman (Tiger Shroff) a martial arts teacher in a school constantly strives for the attention of his students. He fumbles and bumbles, behaves like a little boy around his formidable mother Bebe (Amrita singh) and is all shy and tongue-tied around his female colleague Kirti (Jacqueline Fernandez). One day, when Aman is trying to save his beloved land that houses a sacred tree from the clutches of corrupt businessman Malhotra (Kay Kay Menon), fate shines upon him. Destiny makes him a common man’s superhero, the ‘Flying Jatt’. In order to save the day, he also challenges super villain Raka (WWE wrestler Nathan Jones) in a dangerous battle. Bestowed not only with incredible superpower, Flying Jatt also displays some jaw-dropping martial art kicks. A superhero blessed with killer dance moves, the film also features the digital rage chart-buster song ‘Beat Pe Booty’.

    D’Souza said “Making Flying Jatt has been an overwhelming experience. I have always been inspired by Superheroes and the idea behind the film was to give India its first Desi Superhero which hopefully we have been able to. I am happy that Zee Cinema is premiering the movie. This would help A Flying Jatt reach out to wider masses and entertain more.”

    MUMBAI: Zee Cinema, the world’s biggest theatre for Hindi movies, is all set for the World television premiere of Welcome Back on 28 May at 8 pm. The channel intends to take its viewers on a crazy, fun filled laughter riot with this premiere. The sequel to the Anees Bazmee directed blockbuster Welcome the ensemble star cast includes Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, John Abraham, Shruti Haasan, Paresh Rawal, Dimple Kapadia and Naseeruddin Shah. An interesting fact is that ‘Welcome Back’ is the first Bollywood Film to be shot inside the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi amongst other exotic locations.

    Zee Cinema, with its promise of Movies.Masti.Magic, brings to its viewers exciting contests and experiences as a part of the promotional plan for the premiere. Mumbaikars will get a chance to spot a sleek ‘Welcome Back’ limousine cruising in and around Matunga, Dadar, Bandra, Worli, Mahim and other parts of South Mumbai on 26 and 27 May. The channel has launched India’s first Automated Facebook Messenger Bot that allows the audience to chat with the quirky and fun Uday Bhai (Nana Patekar) and Majnu Bhai (Anil Kapoor). The Bot uses ‘Natural Language Processing’ which understands what specific information the user is asking based on Algorithms & Machine Learning. Facebook recently launched this facility at the recent F8 developer conference and Zee Cinema is the first brand in India to adopt it for user engagement. Zee Cinema has also adopted a 360 degree marketing approach including TV, Radio, Print and Outdoor Media amongst other mediums to entertain viewers across all platforms to build the premiere on the channel.

    Shot at various extravagant locations of Dubai, the movie revolves around Uday Shetty (Nana Patekar) and Majnu (Anil Kapoor) who have quit the underworld and become ethical businessmen. It is revealed that Shankar Shetty (Uday’s father also enacted by Nana Patekar) has a second daughter Ranjana (Shruti Haasan) and her marriage is Uday’s responsibility. The twist in the story comes when Ranjana and a hot hunk – Ajay aka Ajju (John Abraham), a well-known street smart criminal falls in love. Having left the crime world, Uday and Majnu try every trick in the book to separate the young couple, but in vain. That is when they decide to take help of the most powerful don Wanted Bhai (Naseeruddin Shah).

    The various twists and turns will take the viewers on a ride filled with laughter and lots of entertainment.

    MUMBAI: Continuing its lead across genres in week 11 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) all India data, Sun TV bagged 966875 (000s sums) in terms of viewership ratings, followed by Star Plus in second position with 771273(‘000s) and Colors with 745190 (‘000s) stood at number three.

    Zee TV maintained its fourth slot with 695461 (‘000s) whereas as its free to air (FTA) channel Zee Anmol dropped two spots to number seven with 499677 (‘000s). Sony Pal climbed a place to number five position with 522561 (‘000s) while Life Ok stood at number six with 504087 (‘000s).

    Last but not the least were STAR Utsav, Zee Cinema and ETV Telugu which stood at eighth, ninth and tenth positions across genres with 494771 (‘000s), 475752 (‘000s) and 454735 (‘000s) respectively.
