    MUMBAI: 92.7 Big FM is known to provide thematic content during the 20-20 cricket match series, thereby becoming the most popular radio destination during the cricket extravaganza.

    This year the radio station is all set to ride the 20-20 cricket wave yet again, with two exclusive segments. The radio station has roped in celebrated cricket analyst Ayaz Memon to co-host ‘BIG Cricket League’ with sports RJ Abhimanyu. The duo will present a star player’s biopic every week from Monday-Thursday 8pm-9pm from 3rd April to 26th May for its listeners across HSMs. Leveraging the cricket fever, 92.7 BIG FM is collaborating with legendary cricketer Virender Sehwag for the third time to bring match analysis to a cricket crazy nation during the morning show across the network.

    Big Cricket League will see Ayaz Memon presenting biopics of iconic players every week and bringing alive interesting facts of the lives of famous cricketers like MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Zaheer Khan, Gautam Gambhir and Murali Vijay that will be focusing on their childhood, family background, education and more. Spread over a period of eight weeks, this cricket season will see the flamboyant Virender Sehwag offer exclusive pre and post match analysis.

    MUMBAI: Yuvraj Singh is a name that makes headlines every time the player auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) takes place. He has established himself as a marquee asset and expectations are always soaring. However, the 2016 IPL auction saw a new Indian player emerging as the most sought after. 

    Youngster Pawan Negi went to Delhi Daredevils and became the most expensive Indian player to go under the hammer at the recent auction fetching a price of Rs 8.5 crore, while the Australian cricketer Shane Watson emerged as the most expensive player of the IPL auction with Royal Challengers Bangalore bagging him for a mammoth Rs 9.5 crore.  

    The left arm orthodox all rounder Negi’s base price was Rs 30 lakh. What a day for the young man, who has just been named in the India squad for the Asia Cup and ICC World T20!

    Yuvraj Singh, whose performance last year failed to make any headlines, too garnered great attention. Sunrisers Hyderabad dished out Rs 7 crore for him. Last year Singh’s was won for a whopping Rs 14 crore by Delhi Daredevils.

    “Yuvraj will help Sunrisers rake in more money and fans. It’s a franchise that has not had the stardom yet, no big Indian brand has played for the team and now that they have Yuvraj, they can certainly generate higher sponsorship revenue. Fans will also be very happy with the move,” said a sports media planning expert.

Through this contest, we are looking for such Land Rover fans and enthusiasts and create an interactive and exciting platform to engage with them. After-all one does not get a chance to star in a film alongside Yuvraj and Narain everyday”.

     

    The Ready to Discover contest has been rolled out on Land Rover’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/LandRoverIndia) and its Twitter handle (@JLRIndia). Land Rover fans and enthusiasts need to use the hashtag ReadyToDiscover and simply state their expression and understanding of adventure. Contest winners will be chosen from amongst all entries received by Land Rover and they will get the most unique opportunity of featuring in Land Rover’s Adventure film.
