    Wow Skin Science appoints Vaibhav Arora as VP of e-commerce

    Mumbai: FMCG personal care and wellness brand Wow Skin Science has appointed Vaibhav Arora as vice president of e-commerce.

    In this role, Arora will be responsible for building consumer franchises through the company’s D2C website, expanding the online footprint across social commerce and establishing Wow Skin Science as a market leader across horizontal and vertical marketplaces in personal care nutrition and wellness segments, said the statement.

    With a career spanning over ten years, Arora in his previous mandate led the vendor management function for grocery, health and personal care businesses at Cloudtail before which he has led leadership roles at organisations such as Amazon, Myntra and Tata group. He has also led diverse characters encompassing launching private brands in multiple categories, business strategy, risk management, business development and product management.

    Mumbai: FMCG personal care brand Wow Skin Science on Monday announced the appointment of Harsh Parekh as general manager – marketing. 

    With his vast repertoire in the field of marketing and advertising for over 14 years, Parekh has developed expertise in various branches– from conceptualising and ideating to executing creative and content marketing solutions for brands across India and in the MENA region. 

    In this leadership role, his KRA has been to develop and execute long-term strategic plans and objectives through the identification of issues and opportunities that could influence business growth and profitability. “He will be responsible for building and defining Wow Skin Science’s social media, content strategy, influencer marketing, along with overlooking celeb endorsements, brand partnerships, and associations,” the brand said in a statement.

    Mumbai: FMCG personal care brand Wow Skin Science has announced the onboarding of Anurag Mittal as chief financial officer, where he will head the business and corporate finance vertical for Wow Skin Science and Body Cupid. 

    “In this role, Mittal’s portfolio will range from financial operations, financial planning & analysis to strategic finance & business partnering,” the company said in a statement on Monday.

    Mumbai: FMCG personal care brand Wow Skin Science has appointed Gurpinder Singh Walia as the senior vice president – offline sales. He will be heading the offline sales including general trade and modern trade for Woe Skin Science and Body Cupid. 

    “Gurpinder’s role will entail contributing to the development, implementation, monitoring, and review of business strategies that maximise the brand’s retail top and bottom line,” said the brand in a statement.

    In his career spanning over 19 years, Gurpinder comes with vast experience in the consumer goods industry-leading mandate for brands such as Dabur India, Abbott Nutrition International, Henkel India, SC Johnson Products, Parle Products.

    Madhur Acharya joins Lenskart as VP of e-commerce

    Mumbai: Wow Skin Science’s former executive Madhur Acharya has joined Lenskart as vice president of e-commerce. 

    Acharya quit the personal care brand as vice president of marketing after a three-year stint. He announced the move in a LinkedIn post.

    “Super stoked to announce my next stint as I join, Lenskart.com the brand that revolutionised the eyewear category in India. Elated to join this community of change-makers as I look forward to building and taking the brand’s vision to various marketplaces in India & International. Special thanks to India’s favourite Shark Peyush Bansal for this opportunity and not just inspiring me and millions of India’s youth, but also actively helping them achieve their dreams,” Acharya said in the post.

    Acharya joined Wow Skin Science in August 2019 as a senior business development manager, he was made its head of marketing in December 2020 and as its VP of marketing in July 2021.

    In his 12-year career, he has worked at places like Forest Essentials, Cobrapost, Postergully, Freecultr, iEntergizer, and Justdial.

    He has led both offline and digital media to drive integrated media planning and delivered investment strategies for clients like TVS Motor Company, Cadbury, and Flipkart. He also led the media and brand PR for Himalaya Wellness Company prior to joining Wow Skin Science.

    Mumbai: Personal care brand Wow Skin Science has announced the appointment of Nikita Jaswaney as head of innovation, in order to strengthen its senior team.

    In this role, Jaswaney will be at the helm of product innovation and development for Wow Skin Science, Wow Life Science, and Body Cupid. She will also be responsible for leading the launch of new brands & strategic brand mixes under the parent company, Body Cupid Pvt Ltd, said the company in a statement.

    WOW Skin Science appoints Kiran Kumar as VP, supply chain

    Mumbai: FMCG personal care brand WOW Skin Science on Monday announced the appointment of Kiran Kumar as vice president of the supply chain.

    Kumar will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end supply chain of Body Cupid Pvt Ltd. His responsibilities will also include production and distribution planning, warehousing, logistics, and procurement.

    In his career spanning 18 years, Kumar has worked as senior instock manager at Cloudtail, an Amazon joint venture. He has also lent his expertise as manager- supply chain at Marico where he handled various roles across manufacturing, procurement, distribution planning, new product development, project management, modern trade, and e-commerce supply chain management.
