The network’s exceptional evolution has been recognized with two prestigious awards at the WCRCLEADERS GLOBAL Summit in London, hosted by the World Consulting & Research Corporation International (WCRC).

    TV9 Network managing director & CEO Barun Das, received the prestigious ‘World’s Best Leader’ award from Baroness Sandip Verma and Baroness Pola Uddin at the House of Lords in the Palace of Westminster. Additionally, News9 Plus, TV9 Network’s groundbreaking News OTT platform, was honoured with the title of ‘World’s Best Brand’ in News Media 2023.

    Expressing his gratitude for this prestigious honour, Das said, “Running a news network is an incredibly challenging endeavour, perhaps the most complex aspect, is that a news channel is considered the fourth estate. Balancing the responsibility of being a watchdog of democracy while running a profitable business is a formidable challenge.     As the distinguished recipient of the ‘World’s Best Leader’ 2023 award, Das now enters an exclusive league of exceptional leaders who have demonstrated unparalleled leadership skills, propelling their organisations to unprecedented levels of success.     The momentous occasion of the WCRCLEADERS GLOBAL Leaders’ Summit and Awards took place on Thursday, 5 October, 2023, at the prestigious Peers Room, located within The House of Lords at The Palace of Westminster in London.

    This year’s summit centred around the theme ‘One Earth. One Family. One Future,’ emphasising the profound interconnectedness of our world and how it generates fresh opportunities for global business, concurrently fostering the reduction of tensions and the promotion of international trade.

    Notably, the Peers Room at the House of Lords reached maximum capacity as attendees gathered to celebrate the award winners. Esteemed guests from various countries graced the occasion, further enhanced by the presence of several prominent British ministers, Lords, Baronesses, and distinguished individuals.     NEW DELHI: FCB India group chairman and CEO Rohit Ohri has been named India’s Inspirational Leader 2020 in advertising by WCRC. The virtual event of Inspirational Brands & Leaders that unveils India’s iconic and inspirational brands and leaders is slated for 28 November 2020.

    Besides leading FCB India, an IPG company, Ohri is known for his deep passion for game-changing ideas that not only build brands with the purpose for clients but also transforms communities, societies and the world at large.

    In a career span of nearly thirty years, his track record in driving organizational efficiency have catapulted agencies and brands to grow consistently. His history of turning around organisations is indeed inspirational. Before FCB, Rohit has worked with JWT and Dentsu India. Under his leadership, JWT India became the most profitable office of JWT globally and Dentsu India became the fastest-growing agency in the Dentsu world.

    The creative transformation of FCB India has been lauded by the industry. FCB India is now the most creatively awarded Indian agency. This year has been an all-time high for the FCB India, with the agency being named the No. 1 creative agency in India by the One Show Global Creative Rankings 2020.     The selection process was based on an exhaustive and in depth survey mapping of elements like brand promise/ growth, reach, year-on-year growth, penetration, goodwill, recall, and market acceptance etc. Finally, the number was shortlisted to 100 brands, before concluding on the final winner.

    Research has shown that there is a 55% awareness and a 31% purchase intent for EVARA amongst target audience over the last two years. Consumers identify with platinum as a clear symbol of love and see the metal as stylish, precious and attractive.

    Wizcraft wins big at the Asian Brand and Leadership Summit in Dubai

    MUMBAI: The inaugural edition of the Asian Brand and Leadership Summit saw Wizcraft International Entertainment win the award for Asia’s most promising brand. Known in Indian and international circles as a pioneer in the field of events and experiential marketing in India, Wizcraft has been doing well over the years. 

    Asia’s Most Promising Brands and Leaders 2012-2013 flagged off The Asian Brand and Leadership Summit 2013 in Dubai. Held over two days, 26 -27 August 2013, the event is an initiative by World Consulting and Research Corporation (WCRC) and ibrands 360 research.

    Speaking on the win, Wizcraft International Entertainment director Sabbas Joseph said, “This is a moment of great pride for Wizcraft, we have always strived to make a difference in the events and experiential marketing sector. The two day Summit felicitated brands and their leaders. 200 Most Promising Brands in Asia, Legends of Asia, Awards for the Most Promising Leaders in Asia, Special Awards in Marketing & Business were awarded for their innovation and contribution to Asia. The focus was on Brands (with revenues less than $10 billion) that are successfully taking on and beating their competitors in their respective fields through their steady growth and presence. For the first time ever, it also brought out Leaders who have led the way to make their companies ‘The Most Promising Brands’.

    Speaking about the Asian brand and leadership summit World Consulting and Research Corporation editor and MD Abhimanyu Ghosh said, “This is a massive project with extensive research that has identified brands and leaders that are set to be the super-powers of tomorrow.   • WCRC announces Asia’s most promising brands initiative

    MUMBAI: World Consulting and Research Corporation (WCRC), a brand research, knowledge and consulting enterprise, has announced the genesis of Asia‘s Most Promising Brands And Leaders 2012-13 – a WCRC and iBrands 360 research initiative.

    It is the premiere and most exhaustive multi-platform brand credibility project on Asia, involving the most promising brands and leaders from various Asian countries that have contributed to the Asian success story and charted a path-breaking progression blueprint of the Asian economy.

    The project will accentuate brands involving nations like India, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, China, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Dubai.

    WCRC MD Abhimanyu Ghosh said, “These brands have the potential to overtake the market leaders of today through their innovative marketing techniques, product innovations and brand recall. The project would focus on The Most Promising Brands in Asia, which, through their robust growth and formidable presence, are successfully taking on and outclassing their competitors.”

    “We intend to provide the business universe, marketing fraternity and the consumer community at large, the most credible, insightful and entertaining industry standard of brand compilation, underscoring the promise quotient of present-day exceedingly successful brands propelling the business and economic engines of Asian advancement to global supremacy,” said Ghosh.

    Leaders who have led from the front to build and reinforce their brands and elevate their companies to the stature of Asia‘s Most Promising Brands will also be felicitated at the event. The project would, therefore, exhibit a research-based listing of the Most Promising Brands and Leaders across Asia, and will be presented in a brand compendium, coffee table book, a portal and broadcast format.

    200 brands shall feature across 50 industry categories to form the Most Promising Brands of Asia, and the research will culminate in a launch event during the Asian Brand and Leadership Summit 2013 in Dubai later this year.
