    Vizeum bags Fox Star Studios’ media biz

    MUMBAI: Aegis Media’s Vizeum India has been awarded the media mandate of Fox Star Studio.

    Fox has appointed the agency in a move towards consolidating its media operations in the Indian market.

    Vizeum already handles the Fox business in 20 other countries in the world. It will now be involved in various initiatives to plan the media strategy and help optimise the marketing investments for Fox Star Studio’s marketing investments in India as well.

    Fox Star Studios head- distribution, marketing and syndication Vivek Krishnani said, “We operate in an Industry where information availability is a challenge and spending decisions need to be more scientific. Being part of a global set up, it puts challenges on us to create accountability for the resources invested in promoting our films.     Vizeum launches consumer engagement service, ropes in Anand Kumar

    MUMBAI: Aegis Media’s Vizeum India has appointed Anand Kumar as associate general manager – engagement planning for its newly launched active consumer engagement service.

    Based in Mumbai, Kumar will report to Vizeum MD Indian sub-continent S Yesudas.

    He moves in from Network18 Group where he was senior account group head- advertising and sales.

    Yesudas said, “As the communication channel choices increase and the limited time at the consumers’ disposal further shrink, we believe we need to focus on engaging with consumers at different occasions and different state of mind based on the same strategic thread of the overall communication. Anand’s appointment is in line with this.
    Passive advertising sells a particular product and makes the consumer walk to the point of sale.

    However, there is a good chance that the consumer might walk out with a totally different brand because of some dynamics at the point of sale. On the other hand, had there been reinforcement of the message once again in the consumers’ mind as actively as possible just before the decision to pull out the wallet, chances are that the same brand would have been benefited. Both these scenarios call for different consumer engagements –the former talking ‘AT’ the consumer and the later, talking ‘WITH’ the consumer. Talking ‘WITH’ the consumer is all about actively engaging them at a different state of mind.”

    MUMBAI: Vizeum has been appointed as the media consultant for BSA Hercules Chennai Cycling 2012, scheduled to be held on the 26 February.

    CRX Sports, a sports event management company with its area of expertise in cycling, is the organiser and promoter of the event.

    MUMBAI: Imaging solutions provider Ricoh India has awarded its media duties to Aegis Media‘s Vizeum India.

    The account will be handled out of agency‘s Delhi office under the leadership of Harit Pant.

    Ricoh India VP- national marketing V Balakrishnan said, “In the past, we have had very productive engagement with people currently associated with Vizeum.     MUMBAI: Topps India Sports and Entertainment Company has appointed Aegis Groups‘ Vizeum as its media AoR.

    The account will be handled by Vizeum‘s Mumbai office.

    MUMBAI: Vizeum India, the media arm of Aegis Group, has won the media duties for management entrance training institute, IMS Learning Resources.

    The business that has been awarded after a multi-agency pitch will be handled out of the agency’s Mumbai office.

    Sanjay Barretto IMS marketing head said, “We have chosen Vizeum for their understanding of the test prep business and its target audience.     MUMBAI: Medela AG, manufactures products targeted for breast feeding mothers and other medical vacuum solutions, has appointed Vizeum India as its media AOR.

    The media arm of Aegis Group will handle the Swiss company‘s account, which is all set to establish its base in India, from its Delhi office under the leadership of Harit Pant.

    The natural personal care products company is getting into electronic media after a long gap and will be spending approximately Rs 200 million for the purpose.

    Vizeum India was recently named the media AoR by TTK Healthcare. Also last month it won media duties of UNI TV and d.light.

    MUMBAI: Vizeum India, the media arm of Aegis Group, has won the media duties of TTK Healthcare Limited. The business, estimated to be worth around Rs 100 million, moves to Vizeum from Mindshare.

    TTK Healthcare is a part of the TTK Group that provide products such as Woodward‘s Gripe Water, Eva range and Good Home.

    MUMBAI: TI Cycles of India, a part of $3.2 billion Murugappa group, has assigned its media duties to Aegis Media‘s Vizeum India.

    Industry sources peg the value of the business at Rs 200 million.

    The business was earlier handled by Mindshare.

    Said TI Cycles & BSA Motors GM Marketing Rajesh Mani, “The professional approach exhibited by Vizeum, coupled with their ability to think beyond traditional solutions, comparative saving on our overall cost as well their involvement in our business at all levels convinced us of this partnership.
