    RECMA names Vizeum as ‘World’s Fastest Growing Media Network’

    MUMBAI: RECMA has named Vizeum as the world’s fastest growing media network in its ‘Overall Activity Billings 2014’ report published this week.  Across the 16 global agencies assessed by RECMA, Vizeum increased activity billings year-on-year by +29.1 per cent, 9 per cent more than the second ranked agency.

     

    Vizeum managing director Indian subcontinent S Yesudas said, “It is indeed a matter of pride for all of us that Vizeum has achieved this great recognition in such a short span.  This belongs to our passionate and committed team and the ever-supportive clients. Vizeum was launched in India towards the end of 2009.  We have already been able to carve out an interesting niche for ourselves within five years. We are on the path to achieving excellence in everything we do.”

     

    The top 5 growth rates of ‘Overall Activity’ Billings 2014 are:

    1-     Vizeum + 29.1 per cent

    2-     BPN + 20 per cent

    3-     Arena + 12.3 per cent

    4-     MediaCom + 11.5 per cent

    5-     Dentsu media + 11.1 per cent

     

    In absolute volume, Vizeum increased its OA Billings by + $m 2183 (the 3rd highest growth).

     

    Launched in 2003, the network has now grown to 65 offices in 45 markets.   The agency was founded by Thomas Le Thierry in France, who was later appointed the agency’s global president in 2013.

     

    The network manages global clients from seven global hubs in London, Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Singapore, Tokyo and Wiesbaden. Key wins for the network in 2014 included ABinBEV (Europe), Burger King (Europe) and Shiseido (Global).  Vizeum also expanded its relationships with Sonos, Ikea and BMW in new markets.

     

    Key wins in India during 2014/15 include: BMW, Jet Airways, HDFC, Hindware, Allied Blenders and Distillers, Saint-Gobain, Jet Privilege and Viacom 18 Media.

    Hindware adopts unique strategy to launch TVC with Shah Rukh Khan

    NEW DELHI: Bathroom products brand hindware has launched a new TV commercial starring brand ambassador Shah Rukh Khan for its premium collection hindware Italian Collection in an innovative fashion.

     

    Bringing in Bollywood flavour, hindware launched a teaser campaign starring Khan two days prior to the final airing of the TVC that ran across a range of television channels without revealing the product range. This generated excitement for viewers to watch the movie that premiered on Star Plus on 7 June.

     

    The final TVC was unveiled by Nach Baliye’s anchor on Star Plus during the airing of the dance reality show. Before taking the commercial break, the host ran the teaser, discussed SRK’s new obsession and asked the viewers to stay-on to find out the whole story. Then the full 75 seconds long TVC was played out. The host continued discussing with the judges about bathroom inspirations and said in conclusion, “Not only SRK, but the whole country could keep admiring bathrooms so stylish.”

     

    Hindware’s shift from product centric focus to becoming a complete bathroom solution provider brand is captured in this new TVC, which highlights the brand’s vision and approach of revolutionising the bathroom space.

Conducted across 14 of the Asia Pacific’s leading media agencies, the New Business League is a market-wise monthly tally of the agencies’ new business acquisitions. In India, the tally was conducted across 17 of the region’s leading media agencies.

    For the record, R3 is a global marketing consultancy, focused on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of marketers and their agencies. Founded in 1972 in the US, and 2002 beyond the US, it works with eight of the world’s top 20 global marketers. Herein, R3’s methodology for New Business League is a compilation of the most recent data supplied by 26 multinational agencies on a monthly basis.     Vizeum bags media duties of VGP Universal Kingdom

    MUMBAI: Vizeum India, the media communication specialist from the Dentsu Aegis Network, is riding high on success. The agency, which added Hindware and Jet Privilege to its media kitty last fortnight, has added yet another client to its roster.

     

    The agency has been named the media AOR for VGP Universal Kingdom, a Chennai-based family amusement park.

     

    The concept of amusement parks and beach resorts, which were only popular in foreign countries until a while back, was brought into India by VG Paneerdas in the year 1975. He created VGP Golden Beach, located on the East Coast Road in Chennai.

     

    Currently VGP Universal Kingdom has more than 40 rides, including the first of its kind in India – the family roller coaster ride, the mixer ride, the Top Gun from all over Europe and the United States and a themed water park.

     

    VGP Universal Kingdom managing director VGP Ravidas said, “Fun is a serious business and we have been looking for a media partner who understands this balance.     MUMBAI: The S.Yesudas-led Vizeum India is on an account winning spree. The media agency has just pocketed the agency of record account of  C&S Electric. The company is amongst the leading suppliers of electrical equipment in India.

     

    This is the fourth new business announcement from Vizeum within the last two weeks.  The earlier announcements were for Jet Airways; Allied Blenders and Distillers and INS from Viacom 18.

     

    As C&S Electric prepares itself for a consumer facing strategy for its relevant products, Vizeum has been mandated to ensure the brand is able to share its vision with the relevant consumers in an effective and impactful manner.

    MUMBAI: Vizeum India has been appointed as the media AoR for Integrated Network Solutions (INS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Viacom18 Media. INS is instrumental in creating high impact and unique experiences via multifaceted marketing platforms. Vizeum has been in the news since last two weeks for its win on Jet Airways and Allied Blenders and Distillers business.
     

    The account will be handled out of the agency’s Mumbai office under the leadership of Vizeum Mumbai senior vice president Samarjit Rajkumar.
