  • Publicis Ambience & Ambuja Cement part ways

MUMBAI: Ambuja Cement and its creative partner Publicis Ambience have decided to mutually part ways.

“When we started our journey together, the goal was to set stage for Ambuja to be counted among India’s Top 10 brands. We all knew that this task can only be accomplished over many years. Nonetheless our Khali campaign did go a considerable way to move us towards the goal. Together we have celebrated that fact that this campaign won accolades from every national and international award – be it for creativity or effectiveness. However, as we assessed the way forward, we understood that we have differences in our vision for the brand and the category and agreed that it would be best if we parted ways at this point in time,” said Publicis India managing director Srija Chatterjee in a statement.

This mutual decision marks the end of relationship of almost four years in July this year between Publicis Ambience and Ambuja Cement.

“It was a fruitful partnership. Khali certainly was a new high in our brand building process. Not only that it locked strength with Ambuja inseparably, but also took the brand to a new level’, said Ambuja Cement head of brand and marketing strategy Vivek Deshpande, adding, “However, going forward, we have mutually agreed to part ways to explore a different approach to branding. “

Amirzada Nawab Khan’s story to be telecast on Zee Yuva

MUMBAI: Maharashtra Police, one of the potent police forces in India, has come a long way from the decade of 80s when it lacked training & high-end precision weapons which is the norm of late. That decade was marked with the rise in crime and police’s main weapon were their networking skills with informers.

One of the most dreaded criminal who rose to infamy in this period was Amirzada Navab Khan who had a flourishing narcotics business. This period marked the terror of Amirzada’s ‘Pathan’ gang. The gang was famous for the fear that it commanded over the common masses. Numerous cases were registered against them but only a handful of eyewitnesses were ready to testify.

One brave police officer Isaque Bagwan from the crime branch team rose to fame when the case of Mushirbhai who was the producer of Dilip Kumar’s movie ‘Shakti’ was kidnapped. The subsequent ransom demand & release from the clutches of the Pathan gang raised many questions on the capability & integrity of Maharashtra Police. This case was handed over to Bagwan. Through his strong network of informants, he managed to nab Amirzada & his partners who were part of the crime.

This case was not an easy task for Bagwan as he had to ensure that the trial of Amirzada comes to its logical conclusion. Amirzada on being brought for trial was shot by a shooter in the courtroom. Bagwan’s sharp presence of mind resulted in apprehending the shooter by pulling the trigger & shooting him in the leg, one of the first in–court shooting incidents. This saved the pride of many including the lady justice who was presiding on the case.

This spine-chilling case will unfold on Zee Yuva’s new show Shaurya – Gatha Abhimanachi this Friday & Saturday at 9pm. This story truly embodies the spirit of Maharashtra Police. Similar stories centered around the Braveheart’s of Maharashtra Police can be seen on Zee Yuva’s new show Shaurya – Gatha Abhimanachi.
