    SES appoints Vishal Mathur as senior sales director – Asia

    MUMBAI: Satellite operator SES Asia has roped in Vishal Mathur as senior sales director. Mathur brings with him almost 20 years of experience in the satellite and broadcasting industry in the region.

    He will be tasked with implementing the company’s regional sales strategy to support the growth of the company’s fixed data, mobility and video customers, and developing strong customer relationships in the South Asian markets.

    Mathur has led the sales and marketing, business development, strategic planning and regulatory approval efforts of broadcasters such as ESPN Star Sports channel and Zee TV, as well as of satellite services provider MEASAT during his career.

    MUMBAI: MEASAT Satellite Systems Sdn. Bhd. (MEASAT) has elevated Vishal Mathur from director (south Asia) to senior director, sales and marketing.

    In his new role, Vishal will be responsible to build the MEASAT’s customer base with a focus in the broadcasting and DTH customer segments.

    Vishal joined MEASAT in 2006. During his seven years with MEASAT, he has been instrumental in expanding the company’s position across south Asia.

    Prior to joining MEASAT, Vishal has also served as assistant VP at Zee Telefilms – international division, ESPN Star Sports and Ten Sports channels handling the affiliate sales business in India.

    Vishal holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a post graduate diploma in Business Management from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur

    MUMBAI: Measat Satellite Systems Sdn. Bhd.has appointed Vishal Mathur as South Asia sales director. In this role, Vishal will be responsible for building and supporting Measat’s customer base across the South Asian region.|

    Prior to joining Measat, Vishal worked with Zee Telefilms as AVP. At Zee Telefims, he managed the sales and marketing portfolio for the Asia Pacific market. 

    Prior to Zee Telefilms, Vishal worked with Ten Sports, Espn Star Sports and Global Tele Systems.
