    Mumbai: Celebrating nearly three decades, Zee TV’s music reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has made a grand return with a new season, featuring mentors Sachin-Jigar, Sachet-Parampara, and Guru Randhawa alongside hosts Vipul Roy and Salman Ali. Contestants’ performances have captivated audiences and received praise from visiting celebrities, including Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Tripti Dimri, Shilpa Shetty, Annu Kapoor, and Kumar Sanu.

    Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2024 has attracted 23 sponsors across various industries, making it a key platform for advertisers. This season’s title sponsor is Birla Opus Paints, with Chocolate Horlicks and Cadbury Celebrations as co-presenting sponsors, and Smith & Jones Pasta Masala, Catch Masale, and Clinic Plus Shampoo as co-powered by sponsors.     Mumbai: India’s iconic singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has been a launchpad for emerging talent, helping aspiring singers release singles on Zee Music Co week-by-week in the previous season. Over nearly three decades, the show has discovered and nurtured notable voices. Now, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa returns with a fresh format titled “Nayi Aawaaz, Naye Andaaz,” premiering on 14 September 2024, and airing Saturdays and Sundays at 9 pm. This season features mentors Guru Randhawa, Sachin-Jigar, and Sachet-Parampara Tandon, with Vipul Roy as the host.

    Sab TV slots new office comedy ‘Sahib, Biwi Aur Boss’ at 10 pm

    MUMBAI: Sab TV is all set to launch a new office comedy called Sahib, Biwi Aur Boss on 21 December. The show will be aired from Monday – Friday at 10 pm.

     

    The channel has roped in Vimal Pan Masala as the presenting sponsor for the show. 

     

    The story will revolve around these three central characters – a husband, wife and her boss. The show is produced by Sanjay Kohli, who also produced police station based comedy show F.I.R. The show will see Vipul Roy as Sahib, Mugdha Chapekar as the Biwi and Resham Tipnis as the Boss. 

     

    Speaking about the show, Sab TV senior EVP & business head Anooj Kaoor said, “We are very excited about Sahib, Biwi Aur Boss; the concept of the show is very refreshing. The show hinges on situational comedy, which always resonates with various kinds of audiences. We have worked with Sanjay Kohli in the past on F.I.R, which was a big hit.     Punjabi film What The Jatt set for release

    NEW DELHI: ‘I took up this film because of my love for the Punjabi language and the beautiful script. If French and Spanish movies can be termed as world cinema, why can our movies not have the same status internationally, especially when there is a strong presence of Indian diaspora all over the world?” said producer Saket Behl on the eve of the release of his film What The Jatt!!

     

     He added that the film deals with a global subject. “’I promise the audience a good experience in the theatres as my film is a complete family entertainer.’

     

     Although What The Jatt!! is Behl’s first Punjabi film, he is not new to the field and has many prestigious feats under his belt.

     

     The highlights of his career range from producing the highly acclaimed Hindi feature film Dhoop to launching Anurag Kashyap as a director with Last Train to Mahakali, a television film that won many awards. Behl also partnered Aditya Chopra on Yash Raj’s ambitious TV project Powder

     

     “I have hands down production experience as well as creative knowledge for I have worked with immensely talented names like Aditya Chopra, Sriram Raghavan, Anurag Kashyap and Shivam Nair as a producer,” he said. 

     

     What The Jatt!! stars Harish Verma, Binnu Dhillion, BN Sharma, Vipul Roy and Isha Rekki .The film was shot in one schedule in 24 days in Punjab, thanks to the strong pre-production and a hands down creative crew, Behl said.

     

    Behl is now working on the release of his Hindi film 27.
