    Lotus Make-Up ropes in Vaani Kapoor as brand ambassador

    Mumbai: The premium vegan makeup brand Lotus Make-Up has roped in Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor as the brand ambassador for its range of skin-friendly natural makeup products.

    The key message of the campaign is “#MyMakeupMyWay,” in which the brand film talks about breaking stereotypes about how makeup can be worn guilt-free throughout the day.

    As the face of the brand, Kapoor will appear in a high-voltage multimedia campaign spanning digital, OTT platforms, OOH, social media, and multiplexes PAN India.

    During her two-year association with the brand, she will endorse the Lotus’ proedit and ecostay range of high-performance, daily-usable vegan make-up that is easy on the skin, non-toxic, paraben-free, and cruelty-free.

    With an extensive media plan, the brand will run a digital video campaign, which will play out on the brand’s social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. In addition, Lotus Make-Up will run the brand film at leading multiplexes across the country to grab eyeballs for maximum visibility.

    In the film, Kapoor is seen using Lotus Make-Up products at a get-together during the day, on a road trip, and at an evening party. The stunning actress, who readily connects with millennials and gen-z, resonates with today’s modern consumers, who are charmed by her beauty, flawless complexion, and personality. Lotus Make-Up plans to leverage her extraordinary popularity to reach out to aspirational consumers across India.

    MUMBAI: The third edition of the Big Life OK Awards is back with a bang after the success of the last two editions. The show that will air on Independence day, celebrated patriotism and saluted the freedom fighters with spectacular performances by some of the biggest names in the television and bollywood industry.

     

    While bollywood and television stars like Kareena Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor enthralled the audience with high energy performances, the anchors for the evening Sunil Grover and Varun Sharma, kept everyone in splits with their gags and comic timing.

As the leading bollywood heartthrob Kareena Kapoor set the stage on fire with her splendid performance, Sushant Singh Rajput paid tribute to the freedom fighters through his act instigating the feeling of patriotism in each and every person present in the event. While the central theme of Sushant’s act was independence, the gorgeous Esha Gupta and the bubbly Shradhha Kapoor highlighted various moods of women and issues faced by them respectively. The aerial act by Prateek and Sneha meaningfully depicted the colors of tri-color.

     

    Other celebrities present on the show were Surveen Chawla, Esha Gupta, Vani Kapoor, Jai Kalra, Kiara Advani, Daisy Shah, Mohit Marwah, Rhea Chakraborty, Shraddha Arya, Shaan along with Producer-Director Vipul Shah, RJ Madhurima and Talat Aziz.

    NEW DELHI: The seventh edition of the Hero Women’s Indian Open witnessed the ‘Rest of the World’ team beat ‘Asia’ 3-1 in the ‘Hero Skills Challenge’ at the par-72, Delhi Golf Club course here today.

    The Rest of the World team comprising Sophie Gustafson (Sweden), GwladysNocera (France), Holly Clyburn(England) and Maria Balikoeva (Russia) beat The Asian contingent of Sharmila Nicollet, Neha Tripathi, Vani Kapoor (all India) and Chung Ye Na (Korea) by a margin of 3-1. Rest of the World pocketed Rs 90,000 for their efforts while Team Asia had to settle for Rs 30,000. Each skills contest was worth a prize purse of Rs 30,000.

    The USD 300,000Hero Women’s Indian Open 2013 commences with thePro-Am on Wednesday 27th November, followed by the three-day main stroke-play tournament, from 28th to 30thNovember, 2013.The event is tri-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET), Ladies Asian Golf Tour (LAGT) and the Womens’ Golf Association of India (WGAI).

    The ‘Hero Skills Challenge’ teed-off with the ‘Longest Drive’ competition. Rest of the World beat Asia in this format after Ladies European Tour star Sophie Gustafson let loose a 283 yard drive on the tenth fairway. Asia’s best reply in this contest came in the form of a 265-yard effort by Sharmila Nicollet.

    Sharmila however pulled one back for team Asia in the ‘Closest to the Pin’ contest with her ball coming to rest 3.5 feet from the pin. The best the Rest of the World could manage in this category was a 12 feet 6 inch effortfrom Holly Clyburn of England.

    In the ‘Bunker Shot’ contest however, Russia’s Maria Balikoeva helped Rest of the World nudge ahead with a superb shot that saw her ball come to rest 1 foot six inches from the pin, far better than the 3 feet 8 inch effort from Korean Chung Ye Na.

    The Rest of the World drove the nail into the coffin in the ‘Putting Contest’ with Sophie Gustafson once again starring with a superb putt that fell just nine inches short of its target. In reply, the closest Asia could get, with Vani Kapoor’s effort was a 3 feet, three inches putt.
