    TLC to premiere ’50 Ways To Kill Your Mammy’

    MUMBAI: TLC is all geared up this summer with a new show titled 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy. The show will premiere on 8 May 2016every Sunday at 7 pm.

    In the show, the dare devil presenter, Baz Ashmawy decides to take his mammy on one of his adventurous trips only to test his Mammy’s mettle. The specially designed journey by Baz will take his mammy and viewers across locations in Africa, Asia and the USA. Baz will not leave a single chance to scare his mother.

    The new show is a continent hopping travelogue by BazAshmawy and his 71-year-old mother, Nancy. The show will follow the first time adventurer Nancy, as she finds herself jumping blindly on every thrilling situation. The 71 year old will be seen trying every crazy adventure that her son has on offer. The series reflects mother and son bond in a unique and overwhelming way.

    The show follows the courageous man as he maps out his journey based on his devious plans, across the globe only to gently test Nancy’s limits.

    Grass Valley honoured with Philo T. Farnsworth Award by Television Academy

    MUMBAI: Grass Valley USA, LLC was presented with the Philo T. Farnsworth Award by the Television Academy at its 67th Engineering Emmy Awards.

     

    The company was honored for its five-decade history of providing the tools to create signal infrastructure as the television industry grew; for its years of leadership in video routing, switching and manipulation; and for its industry-changing, pioneering strides in digital-image processing and effects.

     

    The award was presented on 28 October.

     

    In receiving the award, Grass Valley senior vice president, marketing Mike Cronk said, “It was an honor to receive on behalf of all Grass Valley employees through the years the Philo T. Farnsworth Award from the Television Academy at its 67th Engineering Emmy Awards ceremony.     MUMBAI: Endemol Shine North America’s premium content network Endemol Beyond USA is set to launch its new eSports & gaming Smasher Network with the debut of its flagship series Legends of Gaming hosted by Toby Turner.

     

    The network has unveiled seven new original series including Rule’m Sports, based on the hit UK series and hosted by YouTube star Jesse Wellens.

     

    Smasher Network marks the second digital-first network from Endemol Beyond USA, following the launch of ICON, the premium global lifestyle network creatively led by digital pioneer Michelle Phan that is launching in 11 territories globally.

     

    Smasher Network will be available across more than 20 platforms, including YouTube, Roku, TiVo, DailyMotion, Amazon Fire TV, Verizon go90, Vessel and also at Endemol Beyond USA’s OTT platform GetBeyond.US.

Pizza Hut is on board as the principal integration partner, as well as sponsors Razer and iBuyPower, who outfitted the stage with top-of-the-line equipment and custom gaming systems for the Legends. In addition, Endemol Beyond USA is producing another 37 segments of Legends of Gaming: Game Play showing the complete competition; and 37 companion pieces entitled Legends of Gaming: Bloopers and Outtakes, which gives fans an inside look at the antics that were a part of each episode. There will be cast profiles, win/fail videos and recaps, as well. Legends videos will post seven days a week on YouTube, across five months from 7 October through February 2016.
