    With Mother’s Day just around the corner, Unstop, the talent engagement and hiring platform for students and graduates, is honouring the all-knowing moms and their invaluable guidance with a revamped Mentorship section on its website. Based on the theme “Unlock Maa’s guidance with Unstop,” the platform will have the refurbished sections featured on its website.

    In this quirky campaign, Unstop will rename the “Find a Mentor” section to “Maa’s Picks,” paying homage to the first and most influential mentor in our lives. Similarly, another section has been rebranded as “Upskill with Masterclasses Maa Recommends,” highlighting the platform’s curated selection of expert-led courses.

    Furthermore, Unstop has introduced “Mentor like Maa!” as a replacement for “Become a Mentor,” encouraging users to share their knowledge and experience with others, although it shall never be able to match the guidance offered by mothers. The “Recommended Mentor” section now features a new tagline: “We know you can’t decide which mentor is right for you. So we made it easier,” along with Unstop’s recommended mentors, making it simpler for users to find the perfect mentor.

    Mumbai: Unstop, the talent discovery, engagement, and hiring platform for students and graduates, is conducting the Unstop Talent Meet 2024 on 20th March at Taj Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru. The event shall bring together HR leaders, university partners, and students to address the one thought driving the ever-evolving HR landscape – what’s the future of talent hiring?

    Unstop Talent Meet 2024 is expected to have 600 plus attendees, 300 plus organisations, 25 panel speakers, and seven plus speaker sessions. Rahul Subramanian is set to host the event in his unique engaging style. Industry leaders including Deloitte partner Nathan SV; People Strong group CEO Pankaj Bansal; PwC partner Padmaja Alaganandan; Adani Group global chief human resource officer Vikram Tandon will be present at the event. A unique series of discussions titled Talent Talks will provide insights into employer branding, talent assessment and share secrets to hire ‘right’.     Mumbai: Unstop, the talent discovery, engagement, and hiring platform for students and graduates, has introduced Unstop Talent Park, a unique contest that will offer a golden opportunity for students to grow and upskill themselves.

    A chance to apply one’s knowledge to real challenges and learn more, Unstop Talent Park will provide students a chance to land internships that could lay the foundation for a successful career. Unstop Talent Park has two tracks – tech and non-tech.

    The Tech track will involve an MCQ, a coding assignment, an executive summary round, and a detailed deck submission round, before the grand finale. If you are a tech, coding, or problem-solving enthusiast, then the Tech track is the one to choose. The Non-tech track will include an aptitude assignment followed by an executive summary round, and a detailed deck submission before the finale. While all B.Tech, M.Tech, M.E., and Dual Degree students are eligible for the Tech track, the Non-tech track is open to students enrolled in any field of study in any university in the country.

    Those who crack the contest will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, alongside an internship opportunity with a stipend of up to Rs 1 lakh per month. The internship could later be converted to a full-time job offer, based on the candidate’s performance. For the first runner-up, the reward will be a cash prize of Rs 50,000, while the second runner-up will receive Rs 30,000. All participants will be awarded at the end of the contest. The deadline to register for Unstop Talent Park is 29 February 2024.

    Walmart CodeHers, a hiring challenge for women coders, is back in association with Unstop

    Mumbai: Unstop, the community engagement and hiring platform for students and graduates, is back with the third edition of the Walmart CodeHers hiring challenge. Set to be bigger and better than the last two editions, CodeHers 2024 will be India’s biggest hiring challenge conducted exclusively for women, providing them a golden opportunity to land their dream job. In the past two editions, Walmart CodeHers has provided female coders a chance to showcase their skills and make their way into a Fortune #1 Company.

    Open to all female undergraduate and postgraduate students across India’s engineering colleges, CodeHers 2024 has 3 levels that participants must succeed in to become the ultimate winners. Level 1 will comprise an MCQ challenge while Level 2 will be a Coding challenge where shortlisted participants will present logical coding solutions to two problem statements. Participants who clear both Levels 1 and 2 will then be shortlisted for the final level, which will involve a profile verification and an interview process.

    The top 15 students from each graduating batch (2024 and 2025) will receive a cash prize of INR 30,000. But that’s not all. The top coders from the 2025 graduating batch will be offered direct summer internship opportunities at Walmart Global Tech India in Chennai or Bangalore with a monthly stipend of Rs 1,00,000-1,10,000 lakh.

    The top coders from the 2024 graduating batch will also be contacted for Pre Placement Interviews against relevant opportunities for Software roles at Walmart Global Tech India. For software engineers, the salary package ranges from Rs 18-21 lakhs with an Rs 2-3.5 lakh joining bonus and stock grants of up to Rs 2.5 lakhs.

    33K Participants from 18 countries advance to the Unstop World Cup Final

    Mumbai: Unstop, the community engagement and hiring platform for students and graduates, has announced the finalists of its ‘World’s Biggest Cricket Quiz Festival’.

    1   The quiz saw a total of 33,000 participants hailing from 18 countries, primarily India, the United States, and Bangladesh, vying for the prize pool of Rs 4,00,000.

    2   Unstop conducted 45 daily quizzes throughout the tournament, with six questions for every player to ace.

    3   The grand finale of the Unstop World Cup Cricket Quiz Festival will be conducted on 18 November,  a day prior to the finale of the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

    4   The top six are Tushar Kanda from NIT Karnataka, Surathkal; Madhav Kedia; Pradhyumna R from PES University, Bengaluru; Preetham Upadhyay from Barclays; Abhishikth Boda from IIT, Sri City; and Saswata Panigrahi, an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad.

       The winner of the Grand Finale shall be crowned the World Cricket Quiz Champion and will take home a prize money of Rs 1,00,000, while the runner-ups receive Rs 50,000 and Rs 30,000 each. There are cash prizes for all other finalists along with Amazon Vouchers, a subscription to OTT Play for the top 100 players. All participants receive a subscription to Unstop Pro.

    The finale will see Arun Lal, ex Indian cricketer and commentator, and Sresth Shah, editor, and journalist at ESPNcricinfo, as celebrity guest quiz masters posing questions to the finalists.

    Mumbai: With the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup just around the corner, the cricket fever is running high across the country. Unstop, a community engagement and hiring platform for students and graduates, has announced an event that will be a delight for cricket lovers – the World’s Biggest Cricket Quiz Festival, a digital contest which will run for 45 days all through the duration of the World Cup.

    The digital playground of the quiz will have 45 overs, or daily quizzes, for participants to attempt and win the grand prize. There will be six deliveries, or questions, per quiz. Participants will have the chance to test their cricketing prowess, challenge friends and fellow enthusiasts, and win exciting prizes.

    Participants must maintain a streak of playing ten sequential quizzes in order to be eligible to win prizes. On match days for Team India, Unstop will offer two times reward points. Further, before the actual final of the World Cup, Unstop will conduct the Grand Finale of the quiz with the Top 6 participants. The winner of the Grand Finale shall be crowned the Champion of the Quiz and will take home a whopping Rs 1,00,000 prize money. The other finalists will also get attractive cash prizes, as will other players on the global leaderboard.
