    Publicis’ Moorthy joins iCubesWire as head-RDX sales and trading desk

    MUMBAI: iCubesWire, a digital marketing solution and concept provider, has announced the appointment of Sabareesh Moorthy as the head – RDX sales and trading desk at its Mumbai office.

    Moorthy will work towards expanding and strengthening the business while being closely associated with the CEO Sahil Chopra and the COO Aditya Singh.

    Chopra says, “Sabareesh (Moorthy) brings his vast experience in various facets of digital media like programmatic, client servicing, media strategy, account management, advertising operations and technology and business development.”

    Moorthy brings with him an industry experience of more than 12 years. Prior to joining iCubesWire, he was associated with Publicis Media as the associate director and group head of advertising operations.

    Moorthy has also worked with Cartrade.com as the assistant general manager – media sales, Madhouse as the group head – operations, Automotive Exchange as the advertising operations manager and other organisations such as Yahoo India, Tribal DDB India, and Mindshare, among other.

    Moorthy will head the agency account sales in the western region and start a new initiative in the trading desk for programmatic advertising.

  • Tribal DDB India bags Marico’s Set Wet account

    MUMBAI: The DDB Mudra Group‘s full service creative digital agency Tribal DDB India has won the digital mandate for Marico‘s Set Wet Hair Gels.

    The account win comes after the brand called for a multi agency pitch.

    DDB Mudra also handles the creative duties for Marico‘s leave on conditioner brand Livon.

    Tribal DDB & Rapp India president Venkat Mallik said, “It‘s fantastic to get to work with the team at Marico. Set Wet operates in highly cluttered categories and it‘s important to create an exciting and clutter breaking creative solution. We are eagerly looking forward to launch a series of break through digital initiatives and creative units.”

    The Set Wet range of products comprises deodorants, hair styling products such as hair cream and hair gels and spray talc.

    Earlier this month, the agency won the digital mandate for Danone Narang Beverages‘ water-based drink brand B‘lue.

  • Danone Narang awards Tribal DDB India for B’lue

    MUMBAI: DDB Mudra Group’s Tribal DDB India has won the digital duties of B’lue, a brand from Danone Narang Beverages Private Limited. It won the account after a multi round, multi agency pitch.

    B‘lue is a water based drink that is enriched with special blend of vitamins and minerals and is available in apple, peach and guava flavours.

    Rapp and Tribal DDB India president Venkat Mallik said, “We are delighted to be working with Danone Narang Beverages on their new drink – B’lue. B’lue is representative of the kind of new age products that are most suited to today‘s lifestyles where functionality, taste and health need to co-exist. The target group for a brand like B’lue is likely to be very digital savvy and we expect digital‘s role in building the brand to be very crucial.     JWT appoints Max Hegerman as digital head

    MUMBAI:  JWT India, a WPP company, has appointed Max Hegerman as SVP and digital head JWT India Group.

    Earlier, Hegerman headed Tribal DDB India for over two years. Based out of Delhi, he will be responsible for managing and growing the agency‘s digital offering to clients across all markets. 

    Hegerman has over two decades of experience in communication, and has spent the last 11 years integrating digital capabilities into traditional advertising agencies.

    He has worked at agencies like Hal Riney & Partners (San Francisco), Wieden+Kennedy (Portland), Goodby, Silverstein & Partners (San Francisco), GSD&M (Austin), Euro RSCG (Irvine, California), Energy BBDO (Chicago), StrawberryFrog (New York) and TBWAMedia Arts Lab (Beijing).

    Max has worked across categories on many blue chip clients like LIC, Times Group, Nike, MTV, Idea Cellular, Volkswagen, Citibank, Wrigley, Apple, Volvo, BMW, Land Rover, Pizza Hut, SBC Communications, Scion (Toyota), Playboy, Oakley and Hyundai and Kia.
