    Nickelodeon to launch latest edition of ‘Together For Good’ campaign

    Mumbai: Kids channel Nickelodeon is set to launch the next edition of its global campaign ‘Together For Good.’ The core thought of the initiative is to tell kids to shed their stress, take a break and do what makes their heart and mind happy, said the channel.

    The initiative will also be associated with the Early Childhood Association of India (ECA) and its subsidiary for primary education – APER, a non-profit body that works towards childhood advocacy.

    The campaign will be amplified through partnerships, social media and engagement with mommy bloggers and advocacy groups. Some eminent and expert partners like Lil Yogi’s, Synchrony India and Artsphere will engage with kids all through the duration of the initiative with tools on what kids should do when they are feeling stressed using alternative methods like art, yoga, and visual therapies. Nickelodeon is also hosting a Facebook Live on 20 March called “Nurturing Young Minds” with these experts.

    MUMBAI: While the pandemic showed us the flip side of life and divided nations more than ever, it also enabled us to realise the importance of resilience and humanity. Leveraging this opportune time to educate kids about sharing, Nickelodeon has returned with the latest edition of the India leg of the global pro-socio campaign Together for Good. This year, Nickelodeon along with NGO partner Goonj is inspiring kids to share with those in need and spread happiness, with the message of “Give More & Grow More.”

    As part of the campaign, Nickelodeon will be using several creative outreach methods to drive the message of Give More & Grow More amongst kids. The highly engaging digital campaign will see promotions on high reach platform like Youtube which will be further supported by a social media plan on Facebook and Instagram.

    Apart from this, the campaign will also come to life through engaging with mommy networks and influencers across cities who will help amplify the reach and ensure the message reaches far and wide.

    Together for Good is Nickelodeon's worldwide initiative that believes anyone, anywhere, anytime, can help make the world a better place. The previous editions of the campaign highlighted hard hitting topics including the academic pressure faced by young kids, child safety, sexual abuse among kids and more.  This edition will once again take a step towards fostering a sense of community and care, most relevant in the current global scenario of nations coming out of a global health crisis.

    MUMBAI: Nickelodeon – India’s leading kids’ entertainment franchise is back with their global pro-socio initiative “Together For Good” which this year will raise awareness about the impact of ‘stress’ on children. The International Journal of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences has cited that nearly two-thirds (63.5%) of the students report of stress are due to academic pressure with no significant differences across gender, age or grade. Understanding the parameters that cause stress amongst children Nickelodeon in association with Early Childhood Association is all set to address the issue of constant comparison by parents, academic stress and peer pressure with its campaign, ‘Pressure Ko Bolo Bye’.

    Leveraging the strength of the entire Nickelodeon franchise and using the power of the Nicktoons, the campaign is brought to life with light hearted, child-friendly yet impactful on-air promos, with the message #PressureKoBoloBye’. This edition of Together For Good sets out to address various parameters that are a cause of ‘stress’ amongst children and simple steps to identify and act towards the same.

    As a part of the campaign nickelodeon is creating a two-fold module co-produced by Early Childhood Association, with an aim to reach over 350 educational institutes comprising of private and government schools, NGO’s and Anganwadi’s across the nation, to help them battle the challenges. Motu Patlu, Dora and Shiva will kickstart an extensive awareness-drive across schools through a series of light hearted videos, fun and interactive activities that stimulate changes and motivate children. Experts from ECA will host a workshop for parents and teachers to help understand negative changes and symptoms amongst children and simple measures to bring out the best in children. We will amplify this message further on social media with interactive posts, video memes and a pledge that they can take through our websites and say bye to pressure.

    Nickelodeon’s Together For Good initiative empowers kids to “Say no to fear and yes to safety”

    MUMBAI: Nickelodeon, the number one kid’s franchise, has returned with their global pro-socio initiative “Together For Good” which this year will address the burning issue of child safety.

    With increasing incidents in the realm of cyber safety, bullying and physical harassment amongst kids at a young age, creating awareness around personal safety, is the need of the hour.  With kids being at the center of Nickelodeon’s universe, we have set out to curate a behavioral change initiative that inspires and empowers them to “Say no to fear and yes to safety”. The pioneering initiative that is a category first encourages kids to identify potential risks and reach out to an adult without fear.

    Leveraging the strength of the entire Nickelodeon franchise and the Nicktoons, this movement is brought to life with child friendly yet impactful on-air video series, reaching out to over 40 million viewers with the message – ‘Say No to fear and yes to safety’. Addressing the 3 most rampant issues of physical abuse, cyber safety and bullying the videos create awareness and call for kids to seek parental/ adult intervention when faced with any threat. Reaching out and sensitizing parents and gatekeepers, the initiative will also be brought alive online and on social media through a high decibel digital plan that includes interactive posts, pledge posts, downloadables, championed by the kids’ favorite Nicktoons.  There will also be short videos by experts and child psychologists on safety tips.

    Nickelodeon has partnered with leading Non-Governmental Organization “Arpan” which specializes in empowering individuals and families with prevention and intervention skills required to respond to issues pertaining to child safety. The experts from Arpan will engage with kids in schools across the country through an interactive school contact programme. The school outreach will also include sessions that guide teachers and adults on how to manage issues of child safety. Nickelodeon has also partnered with Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai-education department to extend the school outreach programme across various Mumbai schools
