Titan ticks the moments that matter this Diwali

MUMBAI: Titan, India’s leading watchmaker, has launched a heartwarming festive campaign that captures the essence of what truly matters, spending time with loved ones. Titled A Promise of Time, the film celebrates the quiet magic of shared moments, showing that the most precious gifts aren’t wrapped in boxes but lived in memory.

Set against the familiar glow and excitement of Diwali, the film follows two siblings rediscovering the joy of togetherness. As lights twinkle and festivities unfold, their unspoken emotions and deep bonds take centre stage, ending on Titan’s iconic melody, a note that lingers like nostalgia itself. The narrative beautifully reinforces the idea that gifting a Titan watch is not about measuring time, but cherishing it.

Titan Watches marketing head Aparna Ravi said, “With this campaign, we wanted to celebrate meaningful gifting and remind people that when you give a Titan, you are giving more than a watch, you are promising time together. Utsav by Titan expresses that promise, saying, ‘I am here, I value you, and these moments we share matter.’”

Ogilvy South executive creative director Aarti Nichlani added, “Titan has always told stories that speak to the heart. A Promise of Time encourages people to pause from their busy lives and make time for those who matter most, not just on Diwali, but every day. A Titan watch is the perfect symbol of that promise.”

As homes across India light up, Titan invites everyone to pause, reconnect, and celebrate the gift of shared time. This festive season, a Titan is more than a watch, it is a reminder to treasure every moment spent with those who matter most.

Tanishq shines bright with Diamonds Do Good honour in Las Vegas

MUMBAI: Tanishq and Mia by Tanishq, the jewellery jewels in the Tata crown, have clinched the prestigious Diamonds Do Good Purpose-Driven Business Leadership Award at the 2025 ceremony held in Las Vegas. The glittering accolade was collected by Titan Co chief executive -jewellery division Ajoy Chawla on behalf of both brands.

Hosted by the Diamonds Do Good Foundation, the awards shine a spotlight on leaders in the natural diamond industry who are setting the global standard for responsible luxury. Tanishq and Mia were lauded for embedding ethics, traceability, sustainability, and community upliftment deep into their supply chain — proving that doing good and doing well can indeed go hand in hand.

Central to this honour is Titan’s Supplier Engagement Protocol (TSEP), a 4P framework covering Place, People, Process, and Planet — with third-party audits and full compliance with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS). The brands also advocate gold exchange to reduce mining impact and have established artisan parks to provide safe, clean and dignified workspaces for India’s legendary karigars.

The brands were especially recognised for:
    * Championing full traceability in diamond sourcing
    * Uplifting India’s artisan communities
    * Driving sustainability from mine to market
    * Redefining responsible luxury in the global South

In his acceptance speech, Chawla  invoked Tata patriarch Jamsetji Tata, quoting: “In a free enterprise, the community is not just another stakeholder in business but is, in fact, the very purpose of its existence.” He  added, “Tanishq is the living expression of that belief — every piece we design is a tribute to the values of those who wear it, and the hands that shape it.”

This win underscores the Tata Group’s commitment to purpose before profit — and Tanishq’s promise that the journey to ‘being good’ is as enduring as the sparkle of a well-cut diamond.

  • Titan Eye+ partners with Ogilvy for new campaign with Ayushmann Khurrana

Titan Eye+ partners with Ogilvy for new campaign with Ayushmann Khurrana

Mumbai: Titan Eye+ has rolled out a new campaign featuring its brand ambassador, Ayushmann Khurrana, who presents a refreshing take on the signature Titan music while showcasing the advantages of Titan Eye+ over others.

Conceptualised by Ogilvy, the ad takes an exceptional creative route; it is devoid of voice-overs and dialogues and uses the signature Titan Symphony to deliver the key messages. As music is the universal language, characters communicate with each other in whistles using the popular and well-known Titan Music, as Ayushmann Khurrana effortlessly provides a walkthrough of the Titan Eye+ experience.

With the tagline “Experts Who Care,” Titan Eye+ launched its campaign earlier this year and urged consumers to ask the right questions while purchasing spectacles. In its sequel, it presents three compelling reasons to choose Titan Eye+, which delivers value for money to consumers.

First and foremost, expert eyecare is provided through a comprehensive 20-step eye test by a qualified optometrist, a practise uncommon in the industry. Secondly, a choice of over 1,000 award-winning spectacles and sunglasses. Last but not least, exceptional customer service has earned the trust of over 500,000 customers, with a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5. All of this for the low, low price of Rs 999.

Commenting on the new campaign, Titan marketing head of eyecare division Maneesh Krishnamurthy said, “It is our ongoing effort to lead consumer conversation in the eyewear category that’s often dominated by price and discount. It is our perspective that Indian consumers are value-conscious and not merely price-conscious.”

Titan Eye+ provides great value for money with expertise in eye testing, care in recommending the correct solution, and a wide choice starting at Rs 999, making us India’s most trusted eyewear retailer with a 4.9 out of 5 rating on Google. That we could say all this without uttering a single word makes this truly enjoyable.”

Speaking about the campaign idea, Ogilvy South chief creative officer Puneet Kapoor said, “Brands like Titan Eye + that deliver consumer delight at all touchpoints do generate great word of mouth. And our very talented team on Titan Eye+ came up with the idea that there was no better expression for word of mouth than whistling the beloved Titan tune. The idea had instant likability and took a lot of detailing and designing with the director to deliver the message charmingly.”
