    Navika Kumar to be group editor-in-chief, Times Now & Times Now Navbharat

    Mumbai –  Times Group restructured the management-led editorial team recently. As per media reports, Times Network announced a new appointment of Navika Kumar to be Editor in Chief, Times Now, Times Now Navabharat with immediate effect from 28 December.

    Apart from Navika Kumar, the network announced the promotion of Ranjit Kumar, and Padmaja Joshi in the Times Network. Ranjit Kumar appointed as Managing Editor whereas Padmaja Joshi as Senior Executive Editor.

    Senior journalist Nikunj Dalmia has been elevated to Editor in Chief, ET Now, ET Now Swadesh. Madhavdas G was appointed as Pan India Input head.

    Times Network promoted veterans with the restructuring of the editorial department.

    Times accepts Arnab’s resignation; to host Newshour till Nov-end

    MUMBAI: Much has been speculated about what will happen to Times Now after the exit of its star anchor.

    The news of Arnab Goswami’s resignation sent tremors across newsrooms and the social media went berserk. Over the last couple of days, the channel has been flashing, “Arnab will be back tomorrow night”. Guess, that will come to an end till the later half of November 2016.

    The Times Group has accepted the resignation of the president news and editor-in-chief of Times Now, ET Now and Magicbricks Now. Goswami will remain in his current position with Times Network till the later half of November 2016 and will continue anchoring the flagship show The Newshour till then.

    “Times Network cherishes the decade-long association with Arnab. We are sure he will do well in his next endeavor and our good wishes are with him,” said Times Network MD and CEO M K Anand.

    In the spirit of reciprocity, Goswami remembered his long journey with the channel and shared, “It’s been an exciting ride at Times Network. We have changed the way news is done and I have worked with fantastic professionals in this journey. To these professionals, I dedicate the success of the last decade as I look forward now to the future.”

    The nation has to only remain calm till we hear next from Goswami. Only time can say what will happen to Times Now whose identity has been linked to its most vocal anchor from over a decade.

    MUMBAI: Times Network’s HD English movie channel MN+ is all geared up to air movies starring Brad Pitt in its official weekend property ‘Walk of Fame.’ The next new edition will start from 6 February and air every Saturday at 9 pm.

    The movies that are lined up on the channel are: Fury, Fight Club, Seven and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

    Fury, the American-British war film in which Pitt is seen playing the role of Don Wardaddy Collier along with a five-man crew, embarks on a mission that puts their lives in danger as they attack the Nazi army. The film got the actor a nomination in Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards.

    The other American film Fight Club is about an office worker who is tired of his dull existence and his new friend helps him discover an exciting and dangerous sense of purpose. The movie is based on a novel with the same name.

    Seven, a psychological thriller, rotates around a serial killer who begins murdering people according to the seven deadly sins and two detectives tasked to apprehend the criminal.
