    The Legend of Hanuman season five tops Ormax’s OTT originals list

    Mumbai: According to recent reports from Ormax Media,  The Legend of Hanuman season five created and produced by Sharad Devarajan and Graphic India has secured the #1 spot as the most-watched show across all OTT/Streaming platforms for two weeks in a row – surpassing all live-action films and shows including The Great Indian Kapil Show, Do Patti, and Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. According to Ormax estimates, from 21 October to 3 November 2024, the Disney+ Hotstar mythological series reached a total of 9.4 million viewers.

    Co-creator, producer and showrunner of the series Sharad Devarajan commented “Because of the millions of fans across the country who have taken a chance to watch this show and support the work we are doing, The Legend of Hanuman has become the most successful animated project in Indian history.     The Legend of Hanuman has topped the Ormax streaming charts for each of its four previous seasons, making it the first animated series in India to achieve that milestone. The previous season four was released this June and according to Ormax’s charts, exceeded 22 million views in the first five weeks of release.

    Mumbai: After watching the reel sports Jodi – Mr & Mrs. Mahi hit it out of the park in the last episode, this week on Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show, the audience can look forward to some real shots served by the proud medalists of our country – Mary Kom, Saina Nehwal, Sift Kaur Samra, and Sania Mirza. The 11th episode of the season promises to be filled with absolute candidness and some well-served hilarious moments from the guests. Being as witty as she is, Sania Mirza spills the beans on her biopic, revealing who she thinks could portray the role of her love interest and her.

    Asking Sania about her choice, Kapil Sharma questioned, “In the biopic on Mary Kom, Priyanka Chopra portrayed her role. Parineeti Chopra portrayed Saina’s role in her biopic. Sania, if someone makes your biopic, who do you think can do justice to your role?”

    Being in her natural element, Mirza replied, “Do they have any other sister? I think we have many good actresses in our country. Anyone is fine. Or shall I do it on my own?”

    Sharing an old incident, Sharma reacted, “Shall I tell you something? I am sure you know about it. In an interview, Mr. Shah Rukh Khan said if a biopic on Sania Mirza is made, I would like to play her love interest. Will you allow any other actress to play it or will you take up the role?”

    Jumping on the occasion, Mirza said, “Now, I have to find a love interest first. But if Mr. Shah Rukh Khan plays the role, I will take it up, and if Akshay Kumar plays the role, I will not miss it.”

    The Great Indian Kapil Show is the first Indian series to trend in the global top 10 TV non-english for four consecutive weeks. Loyal fans of the show have showered a lot of love on the weekly show contributing to its massive success, and this is just the beginning.

    Mumbai – The Great Indian Kapil Show which launched on 30 March has been the talk of the town since the first announcement dropped by Netflix last year. Three weeks in a row, the show has been trending in the Global Top 10 List – Netflix’s weekly Top 10 lists of the most-watched TV and films. For the first time ever, Netflix in partnership with ACT Fibernet, has done something unique and clutter breaking delighting fans across the country! Through this partnership, Kapil Sharma,

    Sunil Grover and Krushna Abhishek surprised fans by traveling all the way to their respective cities, knocking on their doors and waltzing into their homes & hearts leaving their neighbors green with envy.

    The emotions went from surprise to delight to in a matter of seconds as Kapil, Sunil and Krushna went knocking on people’s doors. From squeals of “Oh My God, I can’t believe it” to “Agli baar bhabhi aur bacchon ko lekar aana” there was a whole lot of love and ‘apnapan’ showered on Kapil & the team. Elderly couples to young adults and kids, all queued up and patiently waited for a glimpse of their favourite artists from balconies and windows – cheering for them, as they walked around the neighborhood soaking in all the smiles with only and only gratitude in their hearts.

    Sharma shared, “When I first heard this idea from Netflix, I absolutely loved it. No further questions asked. I have always talked about the deepest gratitude and regard I hold for my fans and to be able to meet them in person, in their homes, and share a moment with them, is a priceless experience for me. It almost felt like meeting my extended family. I am glad we could do this. It feels surreal when you get treated so warmly by fans and you are privy to their genuine feelings so up close and personal.”

    Grover further added, “The expression on people’s faces – the surprise, delight and warmth just touched my heart. I am falling short of words to express myself. I am touched by the amount of love people showered on us. This whole experience has engraved itself in my core memory. I can’t stop smiling as I say this.”
