    MUMBAI: The 2025 DafaNews Bengaluru Open has partnered with Doordarshan Sports to broadcast key matches to Indian audiences, while Tennis Channel will provide international coverage across eight countries.
    The tournament, running from 24 February to 2 March at the KSLTA Courts in Cubbon Park, offers $200,000 in prize money and 125 ATP ranking points for champions.

    DD Sports will broadcast live coverage of the tournament on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, featuring the semifinals and finals. Indian viewers can also stream the tournament via Tennis Channel on Samsung TV.

    “We are thrilled to expand the Bengaluru Open’s reach through a strong national broadcast network, making it accessible to fans across India and worldwide,” said KSLTA. secretary & tournament director Sunil Yajaman,.

    As one of the few ATP Challenger events with ATP-provided TV production, the tournament will also be available to stream on the ATP website and app. International coverage extends to multiple networks across 13 countries, including Dazn in Italy and New Zealand, Arena Sport in Slovakia and Czechia, and BB Sport in Russia.

    Tennis Channel will broadcast internationally to audiences in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands.

    Mumbai: Tennis Channel will have exclusive, live coverage of the Davis Cup World Group I Playoff between India and Pakistan 3-4 Feb. in Islamabad.  Matches will begin at 11 a.m. local time each day and can be seen throughout India on Samsung TV+.

    Tennis Channel analyst Prakash Amritraj will provide commentary during the competition, working beside announcer Geoffery Chizever.

    Amritraj competed for India’s Davis Cup team from 2003-2006 and again in 2008.  He contributed to India’s 3-2 defeat of Pakistan in a World Group I semifinal in April 2006.  Before his professional career, Amritraj was a star college player who won an NCAA national championship and tournament MVP honours with the University of Southern California in 2002.

    The winner of this weekend’s contest will advance to play a Davis Cup World Group I tie in September.  The losing side will play a World Group II tie at that time.

    “I couldn’t be more excited to be part of the Davis Cup rivalry between India and Pakistan again on Tennis Channel,” said Amritraj.  “I know from experience as a player and as a fan that the competition will be fierce and something for everyone to enjoy watching.”

    Introduced in 1900 and one of the oldest trophies in sports, Davis Cup is an annually contested “World Cup of Men’s Tennis.”  Each year the best players in the world represent their countries in a battle to determine the sport’s best men’s tennis nation.

    The Davis Cup playoff comes on the heels of tremendous success for Indian tennis at the Australian Open.  The country’s Rohan Bopana, at age 43, won the tournament’s doubles title and became not only the oldest major doubles champion ever but also the oldest World No. 1-ranked doubles player in men’s tennis history.

    MUMBAI: Come December, the second edition of the much-anticipated International Premier Tennis League presented (IPTL) will be broadcast in over 150 territories across the globe. the event that features the world’s leading tennis players, now promises to attract both increased spectators and viewers with a bevy of leading broadcasters airing the matches for audiences across the World.

     

    The league has partnered with some of the world’s biggest sports broadcasters. ESPN, Fox Asia, Sky Sports, TV5, WOWOW, Eurosport, Tennis Channel, Star Sports, Abu Dhabi Media Group among others will beam the IPTL into homes across the United States, United Kingdom, South-East Asia, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Caribbean, giving the league a truly global broadcast footprint.     NEW DELHI: Champions Tennis League has entered into an exclusive broadcasting tie-up with one of America’s sports-oriented digital cable and satellite television networks, Tennis Channel. Tennis Channel will broadcast all Champions Tennis League matches from 17 to 26 November to 35 million Tennis Channel homes across the United States.
