    Dentsu Aegis Network promotes Suresh Mohankumar

    MUMBAI: Dentsu Aegis Network has promoted Suresh Mohankumar as Dentsu Communications president planning, with the aim of adding impetus to the planning acumen of the organisation.

     

    In his new role, Mohankumar will chair the planning council of DBA India. He will also build and lead Dentsu Webchutney’s planning capabilities in the South.

     

    Dentsu Aegis Network chairman & CEO South Asia Ashish Bhasin said, “Suresh is brilliant in strategic planning and has played an important role in building several high profile brands.     Mohankumar started his career in account management with RK Swamy/BBDO in Chennai. Over the next seven years he worked with Contract and Lowe in Bangalore. He switched to account planning in 2000 when he moved to Mudra Chennai. As a strategic planner, he then worked with Contract and JWT in Chennai.

     

    “I am really excited about this new assignment; it is a great opportunity to bring alive Dentsu’s vision of ‘Borderless Engagement’ with every project that we work on,” said Mohankumar.

    MUMBAI:  Dentsu Communications has won a part of the creative mandate of MRF. The account was won after a robust multi agency pitch process. Dentsu’s Communication executive creative director Ashwin Parthiban and national business head Suresh Mohankumar will lead the business.

    Dentsu Communications will be creating newer aspects of the brand for consumers to see it in a new light altogether

    On winning the prestigious account Dentsu India Group executive chairman Rohit Ohri said, “We’re delighted with this opportunity to partner MRF in India. It’s not just a dream come true for us, but also an opportunity to rapidly scale up our operation in Chennai. Dentsu Communications and Dentsu Media will be working together to provide integrated communication solutions on the business.”

  • Dentsu Comm Kochi’s first win is Jos Alukkas biz

    MUMBAI: Dentsu Communications has won the creative mandate of South Indian jewellery retailer Jos Alukkas. The agency‘s Kochi office will handle the account. This is the Dentsu‘s Koshi‘s first win.

    Established in 1964, Jos Alukkas now plans to expand by scaling the national market and the Asia Pacific region. The brand plans to invest over Rs 5.5 billion in the following year to establish itself further in the southern markets while slowly moving into the four metro cities at the same time.

    Dentsu Communications hires Suresh Mohankumar as national planning head

    MUMBAI: Dentsu India Group has appointed Suresh Mohankumar as national planning head at Dentsu Communications.

    Mohankumar will lead strategic planning and brand management at Dentsu Communications across its offices in New Delhi and Bangalore and will be based out of Bangalore. With nearly two decades of experience, he joins Dentsu from Mudra India where he was senior vice president and head of planning – Mudra South.

    Dentsu India executive chairman Rohit Ohri said, “Suresh has the right combination of passion, talent and commitment to partner our creative and account management teams to take our creative product to the next level.”

    A commerce graduate, Mohankumar completed his MBA with a dual specialisation in marketing and finance from T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) in 1993.
