    Greenpanel renews association with Delhi Capitals as principal sponsor

    Mumbai: Greenpanel has announced kickstarting the second edition of its association with the Indian Premier League’s franchise Delhi Capitals as its principal sponsor. As a part of this partnership, it will have branding on the Delhi Capitals team’s jerseys. With this strategic move, it intends to garner greater visibility, amplify its brand promotion initiatives, and solidify its reputation further in the market.

    This is going to be the second year of association between Greenpanel and Delhi Capitals. Greenpanel aims to build up on last year’s momentum to reach a wider audience base through the IPL’s massive viewership and foster strong connections with its potential customers.

    Greenpanel will be promoting this partnership through a marketing mix of ATL, BTL, and digital initiatives, including TV, on-ground visibility, social media, and performance marketing. It will be launching a new TV campaign soon featuring Delhi Capitals players to further strengthen the brand positioning of Greenpanel- MDF ka doosra naam. The brand will have a strong on-ground presence in the home matches via stadium branding and stalls with exciting games providing a chance to the fans to win exclusive Delhi Capitals merchandise. Additionally, in the digital space, Greenpanel will organize various contests for cricket fans to win the team’s merchandise, post content co-created with the Delhi Capitals team, and launch IPL-specific social media campaigns to further garner visibility and engagement.

    Mumbai: Sports brand PUMA India has joined forces with Delhi Capitals as the official kit partner, ahead of the year’s high-powered WPL and IPL season.

    PUMA’s partnership with Delhi Capitals furthers its footprint in the cricketing landscape. With this multi-year alliance, PUMA will also deepen engagement into the capital’s high voltage fandom and tap into the growing pool of sporting talent in the region.

    PUMA’s association with Royal Challengers Bangalore has proven to be a big success in the league.

    As kit partner, PUMA’s logo will be present on the leading arm of the jersey of both the men’s and women’s teams of Delhi Capitals. Inspired by the pulse of the country’s capital, the jersey incorporates the route map of the Delhi Metro Rail – the iconic representation of the city’s enterprising spirit.   • Sahara Filmy to present ‘Live and Filmy’

    MUMBAI: Sahara Filmy, the Bollywood film channel arm of Sahara One Media and Entertainment Limited, has announced the launch of its new series ‘Live and Filmy.’

    The channel has roped in music stalwarts Sukhvinder Singh and Daler Mehendi to perform live on 27 January at the Somaiya Hospital ground in Sion. The musical extravaganza will also have Tanushree Dutta performing to her hit numbers.

    Speaking on the launch Sahara Filmy business head Ashutosh said, “Every film channel shows back to back Hindi films. While we also showcase the best of Bollywood cinema, we have always taken an initiative to introduce various types of Bollywood- based content.

    We launch this series called ‘Live and Filmy’ with a musical extravaganza by Daler Mehendi and Sukhvinder with Tanushree performing some sizzling numbers.”

    The channel aims to take the event across the country with a host of other Bollywood stars depending on the response. The channel will also have other properties like contests and interactive shows in a run up to its telecast. “Since it is not easy to do such a large scale event on a regular basis, we do not promise that it will be a monthly event. But 2007 would certainly have more such Bollywood and filmy content programming,” says Ashutosh.

    “I have seen these two perform and you won’t get this type of energy anywhere.The idea was to bring together this amazing energy of to our viewers and audience- Live. We are expecting a huge audience turn out for the same.”An increasing number of television channels are now incorporating on ground activity in its programming to increase the viewer connect.
