    Network18 announces elevations and appointments within the group

    MUMBAI: The media conglomerate Network18 announced important elevations and appointments within the group. The changes, which come into effect immediately, are also a consequence of the dynamics of integration which is the future of the news.

    The group in its press statement said that the organisational changes are a move towards the new way in which the two arms of the news organisation—TV and digital—will work in collaboration.

    Smriti Mehra is being elevated as chief operating officer-business news cluster, and will be responsible for the P&L of this cluster. She will also be responsible for the P&L of CNBC digital as well as display and focus revenue for the same.

    Sohan Singh will be responsible for the display business of the business news cluster as well as English news and will report to Mehra. Preeti Sahni has been elevated as chief operating officer-Forbes India, with the responsibility of its P&L.

    To drive TV-digital integration further, the group has mandated Azim Lalani, chief operating officer – brand solutions & convergence. He will also take additional charge of branded content for CNN-News18.

    The group is bolstering its government business team, which has been led by Amit Tripathi. Amit will continue to be responsible for Hindi-regional and national channels.

    To give a fillip to digital and vernacular, Abhinay Chauhan has joined the network recently and will be responsible for government revenues for language channels, digital, Forbes and AETN18.

    For the non-sales part of the focus business, Siddharth Saini will be responsible for the English news, business news, and Forbes verticals as well as international business.

    The group has appointed Sujeet Mishra to give additional thrust to the Hindi and regional languages focus business. Mishra. who has joined from the Zee group, will be responsible for non-sales backend of focus for the Hindi and language verticals, notably News18 India.

    The above will report to Avinash Kaul for television news with a direct line to Puneet Singhvi for the digital business of the group.

    Emerged as a reigning player in the business news genre, ZEE Business has shown remarkable growth in recent times. The avg market share of the channel grew from an avg of 23% in Q4 17-18 to over 35% in Q3 18-19. The channel has been extremely aggressive in relooking at its programming as well as marketing.

    Anil Singhvi, Managing Editor, Zee Business says “the channel has relooked at the programming keeping consumer and credibility at the core of it. Our intent is to add value to our viewers by bringing the best business news analysis. We have also introduced segments like instant profit making tips looking at the market opening.”

    The channel has some of the successful new initiatives like Aaj Ke 2000 (a segment planned for intraday traders with limited money to book profit), Investment Gurukul (making the viewer comfortable with stock market operations), F&O Ki Pathshala (enabling traders for derivative trading in easy language), Desh ki Baat (a unique style political debate show in prime time). All these shows / segments have become very popular in short time and have really fueled the growth.

    Ex Times Now marketing head Sujeet Mishra joins Zee Media

    MUMBAI: Sujeet Mishra, Times Now’s former marketing head has joined Zee Media. Confirming the news to Indiantelevision.com, Mishra said that his last day in Times Now was on 5 September 2018.

    Having joined Times Now in December last year, Mishra was leading the brand’s strategic planning and communication, including new brand initiatives, consumer research, market development across ATL, BTL and digital platforms.

    With over 13 years of experience in marketing and brand communications, Mishra had joined Times Now after a successful stint at ABP News Network where he was overseeing four news brands, managed IP events and played a pivotal role in the brand transition of the channel from Star News to ABP News.

    Prior to joining ABP News Network in 2006, Mishra was working with Dainik Jagran and ETV Network. Mishra is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad’s marketing executive development program.

    MUMBAI: Times Network, part of India’s media conglomerate, The Times Group today announced the appointment of Sujeet Mishra as head of marketing, Times Now.

    In his role, Sujeet will lead the brand’s strategic planning and communication including new brand initiatives, consumer research, market development across ATL (above-the-line), BTL (below-the-line) and digital platforms. Based in Mumbai, Sujeet will report to Times Network executive vice president Vivek Srivastava

There are in total 5 levels, start from easy with increasing difficulty. Multiple issues like corruption, pits etc. act as barrier and every time the character hits these, there is a drop in the seat. One has to jump over the hurdle and get the power ups like parachute and rocket which speeds up the candidate movement ahead. With level of difficulties and super powers, one needs to keep winning seats till 272 which is the no. to form the govt. In both the products, the integration of sponsors is also done in innovative way.
