    Zydus Wellness launches Sugar Free D’lite cookies

    Mumbai: Zydus Wellness’ Sugar Free, a sweetener brand, has entered the packaged foods segment with Sugar Free D’lite cookies. This launch aims to provide consumers with sugar-free alternatives to satisfy their sweet cravings. To connect with health-conscious individuals, Sugar Free has partnered with Bollywood superstar Shahid Kapoor for promotion.

    As a category leader with a 95 percent market share in sweeteners, the brand’s entry into Indian packaged foods follows the success of D’lite cookies in international markets. The new range is available in three flavors: choco chip, yummy berries, and mocha hazelnut. Partnering with Shahid Kapoor, a fitness icon known for his disciplined lifestyle, aligns with the brand’s message of enjoying sweet treats responsibly.

    In his recent Instagram reel, Shahid revealed his preference for healthy food options, such as ‘ghar ka khana’, yet he has a sweet tooth.     Mumbai: Homegrown low-calorie sweetener brand owned by Zydus Wellness Ltd, Sugar Free marked the launch of its campaign ‘Fitness ka Pehla Kadam’, featuring leading Bollywood actress, Katrina Kaif. With the intent to inspire its audience to consider healthier alternatives to sugar as a lifestyle change, the TVC drives a larger focus and awareness on the brand’s Stevia range named Sugar Free Green.

    As a part of this association, Katrina Kaif will be the face of the parent brand Sugar Free and its extensions – Sugar Free D’lite chocolates, said the company. The TVC will go live in seven Indian languages and the campaign will see manifestations in print and on digital and social media platforms, it added.

    Conceptualised by Wunderman Thompson, the campaign revolves around the actor, who in a playful interaction nudges the consumers to start their fitness journey by switching to Sugarfree from sugar, thereby taking their ‘Fitness Ka Pehla Kadam’.

    “Over the last year, we’ve seen an uptick in our low-calorie sweetener portfolio as more consumers graduate towards holistic lifestyle changes, opting for healthier alternatives in their daily diets. With Sugar Free Green we have only taken this proposition further by providing our consumers with an added advantage of Stevia- a natural sweetener,” said Zydus Wellness, chief operating officer & director, Tarun Arora. “Bringing Katrina Kaif on board as SugarFree’s new brand ambassador is a step toward accelerating this growth and strengthening our position as the market leader.”

    NEW DELHI: Actor Parineeti Chopra, who is fast climbimg the ladder to catch up with Virat Kohli and Ranbir Kapoor in television ads, will now promote the sugar substitute Sugar Free as its brand ambassador.

    As part of its new brand campaign, the actor will be seen in a new television commercial that goes on air across general entertainment channels and news channels in the country. Sugar Free has also taken a step forward to reinvent itself and position the brand as a healthy alternate to direct consumption of sugar.

    The brand’s new tagline – Smartness Waali Sweetness – is aimed at attracting the audience to make a healthy choice of giving up sugar while continuing to retain sweetness.

    The new TVC which went on air on 5 June sees Parineeti playing the role of a young sister-in-law prodding her brother-in-law to make a smart choice by adding Sugar Free to his post-work out nimbu paani. The campaign will be supported by a surround marketing plan including print, on-ground and digital media engagement. The new TVC is directed by Prashant Madan from Nirvana Films.

    MUMBAI: Ayesha Ghosh has been elevated and will be taking over as Contract senior vice president and general manager – Mumbai operations effective immediately.

     

    Ayesha has been a part of the leadership team at Contract and has worked closely with me over the past few months to recalibrate our offerings and help shape the future of the office. A motivating team leader with strong people skills, she has led the thought leadership for Contract, both internally and externally,” said Contract Advertising COO Rana Barua.

     In the 17 year long career, Ghosh has spent the past 12 years with Contract, where she has anchored the India chapter of the globally aligned HSBC business and has worked on a lot of Contract’s blue chip clients. She has also handled clients across diverse industries and categories with panache. Asian Paints, Cadbury, Tata Motors, Godrej, Disney Channel, CavinKare’s hair care portfolio (Nyle, Chik), jewelry brand Tara Jewels and Pfizer (Listerine and Gelusil), have all been handled by Ghosh.

     

    On her elevation, Ghosh said, “It’s wonderfully rewarding to have spent a sizeable amount of time at one agency and to now be heading that office.
