    BSG onboards Bollywood singer Sudesh Bhosle as brand ambassador

    Mumbai: Signia, a player in the hearing aid industry has announced the launch of Brilliant Sound Galaxy (BSG) – the first store of its kind in India, where consumers can self-discover aspects of hearing, self-screen their hearing, experience hearing live with hearing aids and take an informed decision to enhance their hearing journey. The store was inaugurated by Bollywood singer and Signia cause ambassador Sudesh Bhosle along with Sivantos India CEO and MD Avinash Pawar.

    Bhosle, a popular figure in the Indian entertainment industry known for mimicking a number of artist including Amitabh Bachchan will be endorsing the brand for multiple BSG stores across India.

    As per WHO estimates in India, there are approximately 63 million people, who are suffering from Significant Auditory Impairment; this places the estimated prevalence at 6.3 per cent in the Indian population.

    The BSG is an interpretation of modern-day hearing care that provides complete quality hearing care solutions for hearing-impairment. It is a completely new interactive concept with hearing experiences, iconic innovations, products and services and expert audiological advice under one roof, said the company in a statement.

    BSG will be operated by Atharva Speech and Hearing Care, a professional company established in 1998 by Ashwini Raut and Vikas Raut. Atharva Speech and Hearing Care has five centres spread across Mumbai, Pune and Goa. These centers are equipped with the latest state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities and cutting-edge technology to optimise and fit hearing aids for all age groups.

    “Inaugurating the BSG center is our commitment towards serving the hearing-impaired population. This step will help to create awareness and reduce the stigma associated with hearing aids. At our BSG, qualified audiologists will help in investigating the problem and provide specific solutions to improve the quality of life of the consumer,” said Raut.

    MUMBAI: The 6th Gionee Colors GiMA Awards powered by Hungama & Renault has witnessed an array of performances by some of the most celebrated names in the music industry. Adding to the anticipation of the memorable awards show, the GiMA’s will be telecast on Colors TV channel twice on Sunday 5th June 2016 with an afternoon broadcast from 1pm to 4pm and in the evening from 10pm to 1am. Fans can also get to see a one-hour special before the Awards screening with an exclusive GiMA Red carpet telecast on 5th June from 12 noon till 1pm.

    The Global Indian Music Academy (GiMA) Awards over the years has seen a number of outstanding moments and this year’s host Ayushmann Khurrana along with celebrity co-presenters raised the bar through a mix of humor, dance and singing.  The ceremony certainly will leave viewers in amazement following a number of performances such as ‘Dabangg’ actress Sonakshi Sinha’s glittering dance number to Arjun Kapoor’s dhol act to even Anil Kapoor and Aditi Rao Hydari singing on stage! Adding to the night, Arijit Singh performed a soul-stirring opener while Yo Yo Honey Singh made a comeback as he enthralled the audience through an energetic performance.

    The awards night also saw Amitabh Bachchan honor the Late Shri Aadesh Shrivastava, the talented musician who lost his battle with cancer in 2015 and recognized his contribution towards Indian music. Seen joining the stage was Aadesh’s family as his son, Avitesh Shrivastava paid tribute to his father by singing one of his touching songs.

    Big FM, IBN 7 to co-produce musical show

    MUMBAI: In a first of its kind attempt, a radio station will partner with a television news channel to launch a musical show. Big FM and IBN 7 will come together to co produce ‘The BIG SHOW – Crazy Kiya Re’. The show will be broadcast on radio and television and will be hosted by RJ Aniruddh.

    The BIG SHOW – Crazy Kiya Re’ will have 13 episodes featuring musical talent in India in front of a studio audience. The show will premier on IBN 7 on Saturday 27 January at 10 pm with a repeat on Sunday at 7 pm.

    The show will be aired on the Delhi and Mumbai Big FM stations.BIG 92.7 FM is currently running its on-air contests to gather studio audience.

    The hour long BIG show – Crazy Kiya Re is a chat show featuring live performances by talented artists and accompanied by a top music band. The weekly show will see the RJ interact with the singers and get them to perform their favourite numbers. There will be six segments of the show and will have at least six different songs sung by the guest. Some of the guests lined up for the show include prominent singers like Kunal Ganjawala, Sudesh Bhosle and Sunidhi Chauhan.
