    Rotomac appoints Ignite Mudra as branding and creative partner

    MUMBAI: Rotomac Pens has appointed Ignite Mudra to handle branding and creative duties for its corporate and writing instruments brands.


    The agency’s approach on how will they get a brand agnostic consumer show discernment towards brands has won them the business.


    Ignite Mudra head Sudarshan Banerjee said that in this market most of the purchases are ‘brand agnostic’ since the consumer doesn’t really pay too much attention to the brand of pen he uses.


    Sudarshan Banerjee said, “The brand is a leader in its business and has a strong residual image in the consumer’s mind. We’re sure that there’ll be some truly exciting work on Rotomac very soon.”

    Ignite Mudra wins creative duties of Cyberoam

    MUMBAI: Ignite Mudra has won the creative duties of Elitecore‘s unified threat management brand, Cyberoam.

    The account size is estimated to be Rs 80-100 million.
     
    There was a formal pitch process wherein a clutch of agencies were invited to present a strategic direction for this new brand.

    Ignite Mudra head Sudarshan Banerjee said, “We are delighted to be associated with Elitecore, which is an established brand for IT products and software solutions in Network Security, Telecommunications and Access Gateway. We are excited about our association with a new age product launch like this. This is largely an uncharted territory where the rules of the game are not defined.”

    Cyberoam senior VP–product management Abhilash Sonwane, pointed to the robust strategic direction that the agency brought on the table as the main reason for handing over the assignment.

    Sonwane added, “Given Ignite Mudra‘s impressive credentials, we were keen to see how the agency would approach a brand launch like ours. The team demonstrated a very thorough understanding of the challenges and the approach to overcome them. This is very crucial for us as we have largely operated in the B2B segment so far.”

    Ignite Mudra bags Sikka Group’s real estate biz

    MUMBAI: Sikka Group has appointed Ignite Mudra to handle its real estate company‘s corporate identity revamp and also handle its creative duties.

    The agency‘s mandate includes handling the company‘s digital and PR businesses as well.

    Sikka Group that also owns companies dealing in automobile, hospitality and advertising, is expected to spend Rs 150-200 million on marketing its real estate businesses.

    Ignite Mudra head Sudarshan Banerjee said, “We will be working towards a complete revamp the brand‘s corporate identity. The real estate business in the Delhi-NCR is booming and its highly competitive. There are many players and we are aiming to stand out and make a lot of noise.”

    Though the name of the brand will remain the same, the means to communicate the new image will be completely different now.

    “To set our client apart from the crowd, we will use all mediums of communications including social networking sites”, Banerjee added.

    There was no multi-agency pitch involved but Sikka Group was engaged in discussions with various other agencies.

    “The client chose us on the basis of superior strategy diplayed in our presentation”, Banerjee revealed.

    Until now, the creative duties were handled by Delhi-based agency Graphic Ads.
