Goodknight unveils its new TVC campaign ‘Neendon ko nazar na lage’

Mumbai: India’s leading household insecticide brand Goodknight launches a new TVC campaign ‘Neendon ko nazar na lage’. This film showcases the bond between a father and child and the importance of uninterrupted sleep for an infant’s well-being. Through this film, Goodknight aims to encourage young parents to protect their baby’s slumber time from dangerous mosquitoes.

Conceptualised by Mumbai-based Wunderman Thompson, this film beautifully captures the love of a father in taking care of their child’s needs and comfort. The film opens with a young father trying to switch on Goodknight Gold flash as their baby’s sleep is getting interrupted. However, the father is unable to do so as the baby is gripping his finger to feel secure. The mother notices the father’s struggle and switches on Goodknight Gold flash to ensure their baby’s uninterrupted sleep. Then, the baby is seen sleeping peacefully between her parents to the lyrics ‘Neendon ko nazar na lage’. The TVC also highlights how solutions like Goodknight Gold Flash empower parents to achieve the best protection against mosquitoes for their child without any smoke emission.

Sharing her thoughts on the TVC, Godrej Consumer Products (India) chief marketing officer Somasree Bose Awasthi said, “Through the new TVC campaign, Goodknight celebrates the unique bond between fathers and their children. Fathers are very much concerned about their little ones and want to offer them the best of care, comfort and protection. The TVC conveys the importance of an uninterrupted sleep for an infant’s overall health and well-being and how even a single mosquito can disrupt the same. As the market leader in household insecticides, we focus on creating this awareness amongst parents and empower them with relevant pest solutions.”

Mumbai-based Wunderman Thompson executive creative directors & VPs Priya Pardiwalla and Steve Mathias said, “Parents know that babies need their sleep to be happy and healthy. From swaddling, parents do everything to make sure their babies fall asleep. Sleep so hard-won needs to be protected in the best way possible, that’s why Goodknight. ‘Neendon ko nazar na lage’ isn’t just a campaign line. It’s a wish, a blessing that all parents have for their children. It captures the anxieties, efforts and emotions that parents go through every night. The film makes a clear shift for the brand and is also a reflection of dads playing an active role in parenting today. Godrej Security Solutions to invest Rs 100 cr in increasing penetration & adoption of home lockers

MUMBAI:  Godrej Security Solutions (GSS), India’s leading home security solutions provider, announced its plans to invest Rs 100 crore towards strengthening its omnichannel presence, and product innovation capabilities. As part of the strategy, the company has chosen Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana to be the face of its new multichannel national campaign #BilkulSafeHai.

As part of the campaign, Godrej Security Solution unveiled a TVC, featuring Khurrana. Conceptualised by Wunderman Thompson, the TVC aims to highlight the benefit of adopting home lockers to secure valuables and documents at home instead of regular wooden cupboards or wardrobes. Continuing with Godrej Security Solution’s belief of using humour and emotions to engage consumers rather than inducing fear, the TVC dispels myths that one will never be the victims of theft. The TVC banks on humorous wordplay and depicts a familiar scenario of neighbours assuaging a homeowner post a burglary attempt.

Elaborating on the campaign, Godrej Security Solutions vice president and global head – marketing, sales and innovation Mehernosh Pithawalla said, “In India, only 7 per cent of the population owns a home locker. The Security Solutions Quotient study revealed 52 per cent of Indians continue to store their valuables in cupboards and wardrobes which are vulnerable to break-ins. This is despite the high rate of crime and marginal recovery rate of stolen assets in the country. Through Rs 100 crore investment in our omnichannel strategy and #BilkulSafeHai campaign, we wish to raise awareness among the consumer to take proactive steps towards making every Indian home absolutely safe.”

Commenting on the brief, Wunderman Thompson VPs and ECDs Priya Pardiwalla and Steve Mathias said, “It was an interesting and single minded brief, ‘Godrej Home Lockers are ten times stronger than a cupboard’. For this one, we decided to put ourselves not in the shoes of the consumer, but strangely, in the shoes of a robber. Like all of us, robbers too have deadlines, in fact much tighter ones. Within minutes, they need to get the job done before a suspecting neighbour or security guard shows up. However, when there’s a Godrej Home Locker and even if a robber tried his luck to break it open, it would mean much more time, which he doesn’t have. Instead, it’s easier to rob a home that doesn’t have the locker.”

They further added, “Ayushmann Khurrana lived up to his reputation when we first approached him. The disclaimer was that he will only do the commercial if he finds the script interesting! He plays Shridhar, a bit of a nerd who is very particular and has every eventuality planned out. While it’s dark humour, the amazing combination of Shujaat Saudagar (director), Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajesh Sharma has ensured this is a fun and entertaining film that gives out the message in a light-hearted manner.”

Godrej Security Solutions also plans to expand its reach to 250 districts with 10000 retail outlets across urban markets in India. To bolster its omnichannel presence, the company has also unveiled its latest e-commerce platform and a range of new home lockers starting Rs 6299 only. The new range of lockers by Godrej Security Solutions comes in various sizes based on the different needs of customers. To exhibit the efficacy of home lockers, Godrej Security Solutions has also launched the unique nationwide “Break-in Challenge” engaging over 10 lakh citizens. The challenge will cover 15 cities across India, including metros as well as Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.

Goodknight launches new TVC for Fabric Roll-On

MUMBAI: Goodknight has launched a new TVC for its Fabric Roll-On, highlighting the concern of family members when children go out to play in the evening and are vulnerable to mosquitoes and diseases such as dengue and malaria.

Goodknight Fabric Roll-On is a personal mosquito repellent. It is made using 100 per cent natural and plant-based ingredients such as citronella and eucalyptus oils and is applied on clothes, not skin. By just applying four coin-sized dots on your clothes, you can stay protected for up to 8 hours outdoors.

Godrej consumer products CEO India and SAARC Sunil Katatria said, “While there is an alarming rise of vector-borne diseases like Malaria and Dengue in the country, there is also a lack of awareness that the mosquitoes that spread these diseases usually bite during the daytime when children are usually out of the protected zones of their homes. Our core focus is to let children have a happy childhood outdoors which makes them “champions” in their lives by protecting them from mosquitoes while they play.”

The TVC describes an Indian family stopping their daughter from playing cricket. The grand-mother, grand-father and father express their concern of her getting bitten by mosquitoes and contracting malaria or dengue if she goes to play. The mother, in this case, supports her daughter’s decision of outdoor play being assured that Goodknight Fabric Roll-On will protect her. The TVC highlights how the Goodknight Fabric Roll-On is effective in repelling mosquitoes and enabling kids to go out and play and become “champions”.

JWT Mumbai vice presidents and executive creative directors Priya Pardiwalla and Steve Mathias said, "Every mom knows the importance of playing outside every evening. Of rather not being trapped by the videogame or television. However sometimes she has to say NO and stop her kids from stepping out especially during times of high mosquito infestation such as a dengue epidemic. But now Goodknight Fabric Roll-On, a truly non-intrusive innovation empowers moms to do one of the most difficult things ever – saying YES and allowing their kids to play outside, to learn and explore without worrying about mosquitoes. The commercial is centred around a mother who encourages her kid to go out and knock it out of the park, while the rest of the family is concerned, stressed and worried about mosquitoes outside."

The creative ends with a great message for kids that if they want to become champions and win, they have to venture out of their homes without the fear of mosquitoes.
