TCCL fails to make overdue payments for Disney Star’s channel

TCCL has failed to make overdue payments for Disney Star’s channels, despite collecting subscription fees in advance from its customers. Even after continuous discussions and multiple reminders regarding the overdue payments, TCCL has yet to settle its financial obligations

TCCL’s failure to pay outstanding dues to Disney Star, has led to a situation where Disney Star had to suspend all its channels from TCCL. This decision comes after repeated attempts to resolve the payment issue, leaving numerous viewers in Tamil Nadu unable to access their favorite Disney Star channels.

Viewers who relied on and trusted TCCL for their entertainment needs find themselves in a fix right now. Popular channels known for their engaging content, including top-rated shows and movies on leading channels like Star Vijay, Vijay Super, Vijay Takkar, Star Movies, National Geographic Channel, Star Suvarna, Star Sports 1 Tamil, Hungama TV etc. are no longer available to TCCL customers.

Disney Star hopes that TCCL acts immediately and clears its dues so that the subscribers may resume enjoying their Disney Star channels without further delay.

For those affected, it is recommended to reach out to TCCL to express concerns regarding the service disruption and ask for a reduction in subscription fees. Additionally, viewers are encouraged to switch to alternate operators allowing them access to all channels provided by Disney Star.

  • Live action rendition of The Lion King all set to roar on Indian Television!

Live action rendition of The Lion King all set to roar on Indian Television!

MUMBAI:  Jon Favreau’s The Lion King is the live action reimagining of the Walt Disney animated classic. The modern retelling of the epic musical includes extremely realistic VFX, soundtrack and a star studded cast that comprises James Earl Jones and Donald Glover as the iconic father and son duo – Mufasa and Simba.

Focusing more on Simba’s childhood than the original film and incorporating various new character developmental elements for beloved characters of Nala, Shenzi, Banzai, Ed, Scar, Zazu, Timon, Poomba and Rafiki, the film breathes new life into the 25-year long legacy of the franchise.

However, despite being a new take on the 1994 version, the film balances out its nostalgia with veteran actor James Earl Jones and legendary composer Hans Zimmer returning to capture the magic of the first film.

Talking about working on this film, director Jon Favreau stated “The upside of working on something like this is exciting because people already have an emotional understanding of what that story is and they have a connection in this material and the music already exists and is wonderful so to me there is a pros and cons to each but for The Lion King it felt if I could deliver that would be a lot of people who would be very appreciative because they love the story and I think that they are very concerned that any time this title is remade and then with Disney doing “Live action” adaptations of their classic animations that it would be handled right and with care.”

Watch one of the most awe-inspiring Live-action saga – The Lion King, for the first time on Television in English, on Star Movies on 26 July 2020 at 12 PM and 9 PM.

NEW DELHI: The popular comic series X-Men, has captivated audiences since a long time, whether it be the cartoon series, the original trilogy — X 3, or subsequent adaptions like Days of Future Past and Logan — fans have long been drawn to the fantastic plot, subtle nuances and analogies, the X-Men universe has to our own world.

The mutants are back in X-Men: Dark Phoenix, with another exquisite enticing adventure. The stellar star cast includes Game of Thrones fame, Sophie Turner taking on the role of the complex, enigmatic and destructive – Phoenix. Turner plays the iconic character, Dr. Jean Grey, who works intimately with Professor X, but struggles to control her natural mutant abilities and the super powers of her alter ego, Phoenix, who is wild, fierce and hard to tame, resulting in pure anarchy and mayhem for everyone in her orbit.
