    HomeLane.com appoints Naveen Raman as AVP marketing

    MUMBAI: Modular home furnishing solutions provider HomeLane.com has roped in Naveen Raman as its associate vice president – marketing.

     

    The company is looking at intensifying its marketing operations as it gears up for growth and pan-India expansion, with the signing up of Mindshare as its media buying agency. Raman will be driving the company’s overall marketing initiatives.

     

    HomeLane currently offers its services in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Pune and Mumbai. The company plans to expand its operations to 10 more cities, including Delhi/NCR in the coming months.

    Mindshare appoints MediaCom’s Sriram Sharma as leader–south

    MUMBAI: Mindshare has appointed Sriram Sharma as leader – south. In his new role, which iseffective from 1 August 2015, Sharma will be responsible for all the media and digital mandates for the Mindshare clients in the Southern region.

     

    He will be operating out of the Bangalore office and will report to Mindshare CEO South Asia Prasanth Kumar.

     

    Sharma comes to Mindshare with over 18 years of experience, having worked across multiple industries like advertising, mobile marketing and branding. Currently with MediaCom, Sharma looks after the business in the Bangalore and Chennai office.

     

    Kumar said, “We are glad to welcome Sriram into the Mindshare family. His motivation and wealth of experience across industries and markets makes him the right person to assist in driving the growth of the agency. For us, South is a very important market and I am confident he will be able to lead the south division to even greater heights.”

  • MediaCom ropes in Sriram Sharma to head South

    MUMBAI: MediaCom, the joint venture entity of GroupM and Madison Media, has appointed Sriram Sharma as its South head.

    Sharma will be based in Bangalore. His last stint was with Starcom where he was vice president and oversaw the Samsung business and the Bangalore office.

    Sharma replaces Anita Mookerjee who has moved to Jakarta to manage MediaCom Indonesia. She has spent over five years at MediaCom Bangalore and was instrumental in building a successful office from scratch.

    MediaCom India MD Debraj Tripathy said, “Anita was one of the most successful and respected managers in MediaCom India. The speed and manner in which she built and managed MediaCom Bangalore is a testament to her skill and maturity as a manager. I wish her, the very best in her new role. Her move is part of our continuous effort to reward our best talent by growing them into larger roles across our global network.”

    GroupM Indonesia head Ed Thesiger said, “I am delighted to welcome Anita to the GroupM Indonesian leadership team. On the back of her tremendous track record in India, I have every confidence that she possesses the necessary skills and leadership characteristics to replicate that success here and continue to drive full throttle our growth agenda for the Mediacom Indonesia business.”

    Sharma has over 15 years of experience across agencies like McCann, Maxus apart from Starcom.

    Tripathy said, “Sriram is a thorough professional and is best suited for the role. His experience in Bangalore and the other markets in the South gives him an added advantage, which I am confident will help our clients‘ and our business grow at a much faster rate.”

    SMG elevates Sriram Sharma to VP South ops

    MUMBAI: Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) has promoted Sriram Sharma to the post of SMG South India VP. He will take over as the head of the Chennai operations in addition to the Bangalore office and will continue reporting in to SMG India CEO Mallikarjunadas CR.

    Meanwhile, SMG has also announced appointment of GV Sudha as Starcom and VivaKi Exchange Chennai business director. She will lead all businesses in Chennai and will report in to Sharma.

    Sudha comes to SMG after a two year stint with Madison. She has 14 years of experience in media and has worked with organisations like Lodestar UM, Ogilvy & Mather and Lintas.

    Mallikarjunadas said, “Sriram’s track record with us speaks volumes of his talent and capabilities. We are sure he will lead the southern offices successfully. As for Sudha, we are extremely happy to welcome her to the SMG family. Her experience in media will surely accelerate the growth of SMG in Chennai.”
