    Mumbai: Sportz Interactive (SI), a leading sports technology and content solutions company and a part of the Sportz Solutions Group, continues to expand its global footprint by strengthening its UK and EU lperations. To further strengthen its commitment to the region, SI announced the appointment of Alex Chamberlen as director – head of UK & EU operations. This marks another significant milestone in its journey towards becoming the world’s foremost provider of sports technology and content solutions, following its successful venture into Singapore.

    Alex Chamberlen brings a wealth of experience in business development and operations across renowned organisations such as Cricinfo, Omnigon, Engage Digital Partners, and Trippant Communications. His profound understanding of the sports business sector across diverse regions including the UK, Europe, India, and North America will be instrumental in driving Sportz Interactive’s growth trajectory in the UK and European markets. Chamberlen will be based out of London, UK.

    Mumbai: Sportz Interactive (SI), along with its Singapore-based parent company, Sportz Solutions Global, is gearing up for international expansion in 2024 with an enhanced solution suite focused on maximising fan affinity and commercialisation for sports organisations. Embarking on this journey with SI is the lead investor in the Sportz Group, Marathon Edge, a leading Private Equity investor. The Sportz Group also aims to set up offices in Europe later this year.

    For its next phase of global growth, the organisation is scaling up its products and services that focus on driving fan acquisition, retention and commercialisation for its customers through data, technology, and marketing solutions. The Sportz Group has also launched ‘Fanalytics’ as an offering that will help sports organisations get a deeper understanding of their fan base and drive tangible business outcomes.

    The Sportz Group also announced a new organisational structure to align with this new expansion strategy. Arvind Iyengar will continue to serve as CEO, Sportz Solutions Global as well as chairman, Sportz Interactive. Iyengar also confirmed the appointment of Siddharth Raman as the CEO of Sportz Interactive.

    Prior to this, Raman was deputy CEO and had joined SI as chief business officer in 2017. Sanket Sawkar, who is part of the founding team, will continue in his role as Group CTO and COO for Sportz Interactive.

    Founded in 2002, the organisation’s journey from a humble garage space to its current sporty ‘arena’ is a reflection of how the business has successfully evolved over the years – even during the pandemic years.     MUMBAI: After a successful association of nearly a decade with Chicago-based STATS LLC, Sportz Interactive (“SI”), a sports-focused content and technology solutions company based in Mumbai, has now been acquired by FW Sports Investment Fund (“FSIF”) and ASK Pravi Capital Advisors Private Limited (“ASK Pravi”).

    Sportz Interactive works with its clients which include sports broadcasters, media conglomerates, sports teams, leagues and associations to revolutionize the sports fan experience across consumption points by creating best-in-class, innovative products. The company’s offerings range from providing data and analytics, creating digital assets and building data visualizations to developing fantasy games, social media innovations and managing digital content.

    The acquisition comes on the back of strong performance by Sportz Interactive over the past two years, during which the company tripled in revenue and grew from 100 people to over 270 players on the team. The growth has been driven by the addition of a number of new lines of business including social media innovations, fantasy gaming and data visualizations that have driven fan engagement at scale. During this time, Sportz Interactive has become an official Media Solutions Partner with Facebook and has added a number of new clients to its portfolio.
