    BARC week 20: Sony Pal topples Zee Anmol while Star Plus replaces Colors

    MUMBAI: In this week 20 post the segregation of BARC ratings into rural and urban, Sony Pictures Network’s free to air channel Sony Pal has toppled down Zee Anmol in the rural genre while Star Plus has replaced Colors in the urban space.

    Rural HSM Data

    Sony Pal garnered the first position with 382703 Impressions (000’s) followed by Star Utsav with 364512 Impressions (000’s) and Zee Anmol with 352241 Impressions (000’s) stood at number three.

    Zee Networks’ Hindi GEC channel Zee TV bagged the fourth spot with 267343 Impressions (000’s) while another FTA Rishtey grabbed fifth spot with 261310 Impressions (000’s).

    Colors stood at sixth spot with 221685 Impressions (000’s) followed by Star Plus at number seven with 215485 Impressions (000’s) and Life OK at number eight with 160105 Impressions (000’s).

    In rural data, Big Magic stood at number nine with 157675 Impressions (000’s) and Sab TV with 107724 Impressions (000’s) grabbed tenth spot.

    Urban HSM data

    Star Plus replaced Colors leading the Hindi general entertainment channel (GECs) with 431857 Impressions (000’s) followed by Colors with 414213 (000’s) on second slot and Zee TV with 315703 Impressions (000’s) at third place.

    Life OK, Sab TV and Sony Entertainment Channel bagged fourth, fifth and sixth position with 283930 Impressions (000’s), 264192Impressions (000’s) and 216711 Impressions (000’s) respectively.

    &TV with 127052 Impressions (000’s) stood at number seven while Sony’s free to air channel Sony Pal grabbed eighth spot with 113523 (000’s) and Zee Anmol at ninth with 98875 Impressions (000’s).

    BARC week 19: IPL pushes Sony Max to pole position again across genres

    MUMBAI:  Week 19 Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) All India data saw the pendulum shift back as the IPL season 9 backed Sony Max returned to top slot, but not by much. Last week’s numero uno Sun TV was close at its heels with slightly lower numbers. Star Utsav moved down to the tenth position in week 19, while Zee Telugu,  the only other regional channel among the top 10, moved up a place to ninth from the previous week’s tenth slot. The list covers the top 10 channels across all genres.

    Sony Max reported 944851 Impression (000s) in week 19 to claim first place closely followed by Sun TV with 944626 Impression (000s) which were significantly higher than the previous week’s 907221 Impression (000s) which had catapulted it to number one in week 18.

    Colors with 703707 Impression (000s) in week 19 as compared to 696037 Impressions (000s) moved up one place to third spot, while pushing down last week’s number three –Star Plus down one place.

    Star Plus bagged the fourth position with lower ratings in week 19 of 664177 Impressions (000s) as compared to last week’s 701000 Impressions (000s) 

    Zee TV retained fifth space in week 19 with lower ratings of 639647 Impressions (000s) as compared to 651225 Impressions (000s) in the previous week. Sony Pal remained at number six with 503774 Impressions (000s) as compared to the previous weeks 535090 Impressions (000s).

    Zee Anmol   maintained its previous week’s seventh rank with 500101 Impressions (000s) in week 19 as compared to 506949 Impressions (000s) week 18. Life OK also retained eighth spot with 471354 Impressions (000s) in week 19 as compared to 473477 Impressions (000s) in the previous week.

    The only other regional channel in the list of top ten channels across genres, Zee Telugu, moved up to ninth spot with 46866 Impressions (000s) in week 19 as compared to 1 445884 Impressions (000s) in week 19.

    Star Utsav moved down to the last place with 453454 Impressions (000’s) in week 19 as compared to 466912 Impressions in the previous week.

    MUMBAI: In Week 17 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) All India data, Star Plus regained its leadership position across Hindi general entertainment channels(GEC) while free to air (FTA) channel Sony Pal replaced Zee TV at third slot. On the other hand, Sony’s The Kapil Sharma Show made its entry in top five programmes of Hindi GEC.

    Star Plus garnered the leadership position  with 692202 Impressions (000’s) and pushed down Colors to second slot with 679642 Impressions (000’s). 

    Sony Pal climbed up and replaced Zee TV at third spot with 548932 Impressions (000’s) while Zee TV secured fourth spot in the list with 533468 Impressions (000’s) followed by Star Utsav on fifth spot with 482952 Impressions (000s) and Life OK stood at number six with 478240 Impressions (000s). 

    Zee Anmol bagged the seventh  position with 474113 Impressions’ (000s) followed by Rishtey at number eight with 411338 Impressions (000s). 

    SPN’s Hindi GEC channels Sab TV and Sony Entertainment Television, both witnessed a hike in ratings this week. Sab TV grabbed the ninth  with 359899 Impressions (000s) whereas Sony TV stood at tenth with 347921 Impressions (000s) against 278738 Impressions (000s) in previous week.

    The Kapil Sharma Show made its entry in top five programmes of Hindi GEC, while Colors’ Naagin continued to lead the list followed by Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Kumkum Bhagya on Zee TV and Saath Nibhana Saathiya on fourth spot.

On the other hand, Sony’s The Kapil Sharma Show made its entry in top five programmes of Hindi GEC.

    Star Plus garnered the leadership position  with 692202 Impressions (000’s) and pushed down Colors to second slot with 679642 Impressions (000’s). 

    Sony Pal climbed up and replaced Zee TV at third spot with 548932 Impressions (000’s) while Zee TV secured fourth spot in the list with 533468 Impressions (000’s) followed by Star Utsav on fifth spot with 482952 Impressions (000s) and Life OK stood at number six with 478240 Impressions (000s). 

    Zee Anmol bagged the seventh  position with 474113 Impressions’ (000s) followed by Rishtey at number eight with 411338 Impressions (000s).

    MUMBAI: MUMBAI: The IPL  has Sony Max in the  lead  across genres,  replacing Sun TV in week 16 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) All India data.  Sun TV was number two followed by Colors on third position and Star Plus on fourth slot across genres

     

    Sony Max garnered first position with 944126 Impressions (000’s). While Sun TV which has been the leader across the genres until week 16, dropped down to the second slot with  940621 Impressions (000’s) this week.

     

     

    Colors bagged the third position with 711418 Impressions (000’s) followed by Star Plus on number four with 683553 Impressions (000s) and Zee TV grabbed fifth space with 594450 Impressions (000s).

     

     

    Sony Pal stood at number six with 532838 Impressions (000’s) followed by Zee Anmol with 514734  Impressions (000’s) grabbed seventh slot and Life OK fell at number eight with 470827 Impressions (000’s).

    MUMBAI: With the cricket fever coming down after ICC World Cup T20, Colors’ Naagin has once again regained its leadership position in the top five programmes of Hindi general entertainment channels (GEC).

    Though Naagin topped the top five programmes chart, Star Plus continued to dominate the Hindi GEC genre in week 14 of the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) All India data.

    Star Plus continued to lead with 712595 Impressions (000’s) followed by Colors grabbing the second position with 670966 Impressions (000’s), according to week 14.

    Zee TV stood at third position with 593354 Impressions (000’s) while Zee Anmol bagged the fourth position with 573906 Impressions (000’s).  Sony Pal secured the fifth spot with 507888 Impressions (000’s) followed by Star Utsav with 492797 Impressions (000’s) on the sixth slot.

    MUMBAI: The ICC World T20 fever helped sports channels to maintain their presence in top ten channels across genres according to Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) all India data in week 13. While Sun TV continued to dominate the genre and grabbed the pole position.

    Sun TV garnered first position with 996616 Impressions’ 000. Star Sports 3 maintained its position at the second slot with 881208 Impressions’ 000.  Star Plus retained it third slot with 768833 Impressions’ 000 followed by Colors at fourth berth with 693276 Impressions’ 000 and Zee TV on fifth place with 653500 Impressions’ 000.

    Star Sports 1 fell down to number six from third place in the previous week and recorded 643450 Impressions’ 000  followed by DD National on seventh spot with 592079 Impressions’ 000 while Zee Anmol stood at number eight with 569263 Impressions ‘000.

    In week 13, Sony Pal and Life OK bagged ninth and tenth position with 540689 Impressions’ 000 and 509742 Impressions’ 000  respectively.
