    Applause Entertainment and yes Studios partner for Tanaav season two

    Mumbai: yes Studios and Applause Entertainment extend partnership for the second season of Fauda adaptation in India, Tanaav. The first season of Fauda was adapted by Applause Entertainment as Tanaav and premiered to much acclaim on Sony LIV in November 2022. Set against the idyllic backdrop of Kashmir, Tanaav tells the story of a Special Task Group and weaves tightly knit action with the emotional stories of compelling characters caught up in the fight against terrorism in the region.

    Season one of Tanaav featured a stellar Indian cast, including Manav Vij, Sumit Kaul, Rajat Kapoor and Shashank Arora, and was directed by Sudhir Mishra (Serious Men) and co-directed by Sachin Mamta Krishn (Hostages). Details about season two will be made available in due course.

    Mumbai: Sony Sports Network, is the official broadcaster and Sony LIV is the official streaming partner of the upcoming US Open in India, set to commence on 28 August 2023.

    Current ATP World Rank No.1 and reigning US Open champion, Carlos Alcaraz will look to re-ignite his rivalry with former top seed Novak Djokovic, who will be aiming to add to his record 23 grand slam titles at the US Open.     Mumbai: Sony LIV on Wednesday announced the premier of its fictional socio-political drama Tanaav. The 12-episodic series, directed by Sudhir Mishra and co-directed by Sachin Mamta Krishn, will be streamed from November 11 onwards.

    Tanaav traces the journey of a Special Task Group in Kashmir. This complex narrative encompasses multiple layers of bravery, deception, greed, love, and revenge, all interwoven with strong performances. Adding to the series is singer Javed Ali’s melodious voice, that carries you through this compelling narrative, creating a deeper emotional impact. 

    Produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Applause Productions, Tanaav is created by Avi Issacharoff & Lior Raz and distributed by yes Studios.

    Mumbai: After a successful run with its own original content, Watcho is expanding its selection by offering packages of the most well-liked OTT platforms, giving its customers access to a vast array of new digital material while maintaining the ease of a single subscription.

    Through a single login and subscription mechanism, Watcho will provide OTT content from Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, Sony LIV, Lionsgate Play, Hungama Play, Hoichoi, Klikk, EpicOn, Chaupal, and Oho Gujarati.

    By juggling multiple platforms, Indian OTT viewers struggle to keep up with the latest content. Watcho’s latest OTT aggregation service lives up to its “One Hai Toh Done Hai” promise, which seeks to deliver the convenience of a single plan and payment package to contribute to the ease of access to maximum content in one place while improving the viewing experience.

    Mumbai: Sony LIV has announced the exclusive premiere of “Chhalle Mundiyan” on Sony LIV on 23 September. The direct-to-OTT rom-com film is directed by Sunil Puri and will release as part of Sony LIV’s efforts to enhance its regional content library.

    “Chhalle Mundiyan” stars Ammy Virk, Mandy Thakar, and also features Kulwinder Billa, Karamjit Anmol, Soniya Kaur, BN Sharma, Banninder Bunny, and Nisha Bano in prominent roles. The film is directed by debutante Sunil Puri and produced by Guramritpal Singh and Gurjitpal Singh.

    Set against the backdrop of Punjab, “Chhalle Mundiyan” traces the life of Jassi (Mandy Thakar) and foreign returned Pammi (Ammy Virk) with a Caucasian woman and a child of his friend.
