    Bomanbridge brings Yann Arthus-Bertrand docs to Asia

    MUMBAI: Bomanbridge Media, a Singapore-based content distribution and production agency, acquired additional high-end docs, after its recent Nexo purchase, with the procurement of six hours of spectacular, blue chip HD documentaries from CALT Distribution, representing HOPE Production’s titles.

    All programs were produced by famed French photographer, journalist, reporter and environmentalist, Yann Arthus-Bertrand, a man that has looked down on perhaps more of the Earth’s surface than anyone in history. The programs were shot in North Africa, South Asia and the Middle East.

    Titles include: Morocco From Above (produced in 4K); Mediterranean From Above, Algeria From Above, and Bangladesh From Above. These series are all in Bertrand’s particular style, using high-end technology, with skillfully crafted and expensive production budgets to capture beautiful natural landscapes with extremely complex aerial shots.

    MUMBAI: Singapore-based content distribution and production agency Bomanbridge Media is signing a volume agreement with VTV from Vietnam for nature and scientific factual titles coming from producers such as SkyVision, Secuoya, Earth Touch and Peacepoint.

    “Bomanbridge is pleased to announce our multi-program deal with partner VTV, the largest free TV broadcaster in Vietnam. These high quality factual shows will certainly educate, enthrall and enlighten their audiences and also bring high viewership to VTV,” said Bomanbridge Media CEO Sonia Fleck.

    Some of the titles included in this deal are:

This is the largest factual distribution partnership deal in Asia for Omnifilm.

    Bomanbridge will distribute premium factual titles such as Jade Fever, the Canadian Screen Award-winning docu-series following jade miners in British Columbia, Canada. The hit series was recently greenlit for a 3rd season on Discovery Canada. Also in the deal — six seasons of the highly rated Ice Pilots about an eccentric airline and its motley crew that fly vintage planes on impossible arctic missions. The series also won a Canadian Screen Award for best Factual. In the fitness area, Bomanbridge will rep Omnifilm’s popular Namaste Yoga series which enjoys a strong worldwide community of fans on major social platforms. These shows join several other factual titles, representing 222 hours of programming

    Zee Tamil to produce Season 3 and 4 of DNA in India

    MUMBAI: Zee Tamil, a general entertainment channel of the Zeel group has bought the format DNA to India for the third time in a row. The Singapore based content distribution and production agency Bomanbridge Media announced the renewal deal with Zee Tamil, for seasons 3 and 4 of the hit family game show format.  Renewal of Season 2 was announced in the January of this year. 

    Zee Tamil will produce another 26 episodes each for season 3 and season 4 of the show. This simple and fun game show divides parents on one side and children of any age on the other side of the studio.  The contestant stands in the middle and has to play the game of matching the parents and children together through entertaining and unexpected challenges. Every day, a prize is awarded to the person who manages to identify all the pairs.

    This show has been produced in Spain, Italy, India and Indonesia. DNA. is currently one of the top-rated game shows on TV across Tamil Nadu in India.
