    Hockey India names Digital Latte as its social media agency

    Mumbai: Hockey India has announced the signing of Digital Latte as its new digital media agency for the management of its social media requirements. 

    Digital Latte, a full-service creative digital agency, will be working towards presenting fresh digital ideas to push for engaging content on all social media platforms, and will also be using consumer insights to connect with the hockey fans in India and abroad, said the statement.

    “We are delighted to partner with Digital Latte as our new social media agency. In the growing digital world, it is important to connect with your audience digitally, and Digital Latte’s growing reputation over the past decade has convinced us that it is the ideal agency for us to work towards that goal,” stated Hockey India president Gyanendro Ningombam.  

    Following the success of the Indian Men and Women’s Hockey Teams at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 where the Indian Men ended a 41-year medal drought with their bronze medal feat and the Women team’s historic fourth-place finish, Hockey India believes it is the right time to seize the popularity of the sport and engage with global fans with right digital messaging and promotion of the players across teams.

    “Particularly after the Olympic success, Indian Hockey is gaining popularity not just in India but across the world and the sport’s digital presence is of paramount importance. We see this as an opportunity to further build the Hockey India brand and explore commercial opportunities for the future development of the sport,” Ningombam further said.  

    Commenting on the new association, Digital Latte founder and director Chintan Vora said, “Hockey is a sport of intrinsic value to our cultural and national identity in India. It is a great opportunity for Digital Latte to associate so closely with an organisation of national importance such as Hockey India.”

    Mumbai: Prose Integrated’s digital arm Digital Tribe will handle the digital strategy and roll out across social media platforms for The Heritage Street, a cloud kitchen curated by noted chef Varun Inamdar.

    The food tech startup offers 29 vegetarian delicacies from across Maharashtra, along with a banana leaf to its customers. The agency will be responsible for strengthening the brand’s SEO and SEM across multiple channels in its second phase, said the statement.

    The Heritage Street founder chef Varun Inamdar said, “We aim to offer a traditional Maharashtrian experience which was earlier limited only to weddings, religious ceremonies, and auspicious days. We are delighted to partner with PROSE Integrated for creating awareness and building orders for this service via the emerging digital media landscape”

    MUMBAI: TheSmallBigIdea has been appointed as WarnerMedia’s social media agency for HBO and WB, the global media and entertainment company’s two English-language movie channels in India. Their mandate includes Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. 

    The full-service digital agency is tasked with increasing reach by using social media to build brand awareness in new markets, strengthen affinity in existing markets through relevant engagement and by developing a distinct voice to drive publicity.

    The agency will create localised and bespoke communication to build viewer interest within newer audience demographics in tier 2 and 3 cities. 

    WarnerMedia entertainment networks South Asia MD Siddharth Jain said, “TheSmallBigIdea will elevate our social media strategy for the vibrant English-language entertainment portfolio. HBO and WB already have a huge fan following on social, but with the agency’s strategic support, creative and data-driven approach, we’re looking forward to taking this to the next level.”

    NEW DELHI: In an attempt to strengthen its Social Media Communication Hub, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry has invited tenders for selection of agencies for Response Management Services related to 24×7 function, operation and maintenance apart from testing of software and a separate one for Monitoring services.

    The Broadcast Engineering Consultants (India) Ltd (BECIL) has been engaged by the Ministry to undertake the bid process management and execute the project and functioning, operationalisation and maintenance of the social media communication hub. 

    Bidding will be conducted through the Two Envelope Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the GFR Procurement Manual/BECIL Purchase procedure, and are open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Ministry website. 

    The operation agency will be responsible for one year from the date of award of work order extendable for a period of two year (if required) in case of renewal at the same terms and condition of work order. 

    The estimated date of start of operations and services will be from April 2016. 

    The selected agency must have all the facility and solution in-house, so that the 
    “project” can be made operational within the stipulated time frame and keep it functional thereafter on 24×7 basis. 

    All other requirements such as essential equipment / hardware, software, networking and required services etc including bandwidth will have to be provided by the selected agency.
