    MUMBAI: Whistling Woods International's (WWI) School of Media and Communication (SMC) hosted an interactive session for its students with Mr. Niteen Bhagwat, Vice Chairman, FCB Interface, Mumbai. During the session, Mr. Niteen Bhagwat shared insights on social media platforms and how to optimise them to the fullest to garner insights on consumer mindset and conduct research-based activities.

    The industry veteran with more than three decades of experience explained to the student’s usage of social media to conduct competition analysis across various sectors. Besides, Mr. Niteen Bhagwat, also, highlighted how social media can be used to gauge the reach of brands, celebrities and their effect on the audience at large.

    During the session, Mr. Niteen Bhagwat elaborated on the domain of advertising. Through various campaign examples, he advised the students on how to ‘cut through the clutter’ while communicating with the target audience. He further described the importance of research in disseminating the message to the consumer and went on to explain the effectiveness of media modeling as well to the engrossed students.

    As the event concluded, Mr. Niteen Bhagwat was honored with a token of appreciation amidst the applause of an appreciative audience.

Go back to the old world charm of the 1940s with a young and passionate farm boy Noah (played Ryan Gosling) falling in love with 17-year-old heiress Allie Hamilton (played by Rachel Adams) at a carnival. There is an idyllic romance, an ancient mansion that Noah dreams of owning, and a social class difference that nips the love affair in the bud.

     

    Noah writes letters to Allie for a year but they are hidden by Allie’s mother and remain unanswered. As the two young lovers feel betrayed by the other, the World War II has Noah joining as a soldier while Allie becomes a nurse. A twist to the tale is when a charming, rich, and handsome soldier Lon Hammond Jr. enters Allie’s life as her fiancé.

     

    Seven years later at her wedding gown trial, memories of love come gushing back as Allie sees a photograph of a now wealthy Noah who has bought the abandoned mansion in hopes of getting Allie back. Allie visits him in Seabrook and the flame of love rekindles. But will Allie sacrifice her love for commitment to Lon and lose true love for the second time or reclaim a love that was always hers? Meanwhile, figure out how their story is connected to Duke and his lady companion to make an eternal love story.

  • DQE appoints Sun-Mate as global toy partner for The Jungle Book

    MUMBAI: DQ Entertainment International (DQE) has appointed global toy manufacturer Sun-Mate Corporation to be the master global toy partner for the new 3D, CGI international animated TV series, The Jungle Book.

    As the appointed global master toy partner, Sun-Mate will design and manufacture a large variety of toys for the new The Jungle Book including play sets, figurines, plush, electronic toys, walkie-talkies, role-play and outdoor adventure sets.

    Sun-mate will preview the new toy line at the forthcoming 2013 Hong Kong Toy Fair, New York Toy Fair and Nuremberg Toy Fair events, as part of their initial global sales launches for the brand. The Company will also announce, in the near future, key appointments for regional distributors in conjunction with the new series’ growing popularity internationally.

    DQ Entertainment International Chairman and CEO Tapaas Chakravarti said, “We are happy to leverage on the strengths of our partners, Sun-Mate Corporation in bringing a wide variety of toys and collectibles to Jungle Book fans globally. SMC holds the North American rights for home entertainment, licensing, merchandising and promotional rights for the new 3D CGI animated TV series brand.

    SMC also secured the master toy rights for “The Jungle Book” for Australia and New Zealand and all licensing and merchandising for South Africa. DQ Entertainment (DQE) is the producer and global rights owners of new “The Jungle Book” animated TV series.

    The Jungle Book, new 3D, CGI animated series, is airing in 165 countries across the globe, and currently has over 100 licensees worldwide in key categories of publishing, gaming, digital, apparel, accessories, home furnishings, back-to-school, games, puzzles, HBA, confections, amusement, Halloween and seasonal products.
