    Mumbai: Britannia Bourbon has launched its new campaign by partnering with Indian cricketers – Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Iyer, and Deepak Chahar. The new TVC, which has Bourbon at the center of all the fun, brings out the desire for the iconic chocolaty snack. The TVC, conceptualised by McCann India- South, features the trio who are known to be friends on and off the cricket field.

    The ad film depicts Hardik pulling a minor heist on Shreyas and Deepak and brings out the brand’s proposition of “Original Friendship”. The simple yet relatable creative is one that every friends’ gang can relate to, based on the premise that Bourbon is so delicious that you wouldn’t want to share it even with your best buddies. The TVC celebrates the mischievous, unpretentious bonds between real friends and Britannia Bourbon’s role of igniting fun between such friends.

    “For over 65 years, Britannia Bourbon has been enjoyed across generations in almost every Indian household. We are really excited to introduce Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Iyer and Deepak Chahar as the new gang of friends. They have brought alive the brand idea in a fun and wicked way,” said Britannia Industries, VP- marketing, Vinay Subramanyam.

    Speaking about the TVC, McCann Worldgroup head of creative – South, Sambit Mohanty said, “When you pull a fast one over a friend and it’s all in good fun, you know the friendship’s got to be original. Pretty much the sentiment captured in our new film for Britannia Bourbon – the original bourbon. For it depicts a friendship built on a solid foundation of wickedness, inappropriateness, and shenanigans.”

The starting price of these licensed products is Rs 499 and will be available online on sites like Amazon.in, Flipkart, and more. 

    The brand’s very own boAtheads (brand ambassadors) Hardik Pandya, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw, and KL Rahul will also be playing with the respective teams. With the brand motto of bringing stadium experience to the home, the association this time is bigger than ever

    CEAT signs bat endorsement deal with Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer

    MUMBAI: CEAT Ltd, a leading Indian tyre manufacturer has signed a bat endorsement deal with Indian Cricket’s rising star ‘Shreyas Iyer’. Shreyas will now be a valuable addition to the Team CEAT, which boasts of stars like Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Shubman Gill, Mayank Agarwal and Harmanpreet Kaur. The CEAT logo will be prominently donned on the bats used by the agile right-hander in all formats of the game henceforth.

    Born in Mumbai, Shreyas Iyer is a prolific top-order batsman and is known for his fearless style of batting and high strike rate. His style of play has even drawn him comparisons to the legendary Virender Sehwag. He went on to become the youngest player to captain the Delhi Capitals and in 2019, led the team to the playoffs for the first time in seven years. In 2017, he made his T20 and ODI debut for India and was a part of the recently concluded T20 series between India and South Africa.

    Shreyas started his training at the age of 12 under erstwhile Indian cricketer Pravin Amre at Shivaji Park Gymkhana. His early training days laid the foundation of his exceptional form during his college days which eventually earned him a spot in the Indian team for the Under-19 World Cup of 2014. He also had a successful stint playing for the Trent Bridge cricket team in England where he scored 297 runs in three innings at an average of 99. His spectacular performance in domestic competitions like Ranji Trophy and Vijay Hazare trophy across seasons has been the highlight of his cricketing career.

    Owing to his exceptional performance in the 2015-16 Ranji season, he was picked up by the Delhi Daredevils in the 2015 IPL auction for a whopping Rs 2.6 crores making him the highest-earning uncapped player in the tournament. He scored 439 runs in that edition which earned him the emerging player award.
