    Mumbai: AI-based OTT recommendation and content discovery platform OTTplay has announced a free trial for its ‘starter pack,’ which includes seven OTTs. The platform has achieved over 17,600 signups for its ‘starter pack’ subscription plan. Viewers can choose from romance, sci-fi, thrillers, and documentaries on OTT platforms such as Hallmark Now, Dust Sci-Fi, Docubay, Tastemede+, Shorts TV, Fuse+, and Curiosity Stream that are available to the Indian audience for the first time. With the latest AI-powered technology, the platform aspires to democratise the content offered across OTT platforms, thus empowering the users to discover the content they most likely enjoy.

    OTTplay provides users with content from its extensive library, which includes over 65,000 web series, movies, and shows spanning 18 different genres and multiple languages. The platform has integrated cutting-edge AI software to provide users with insightful suggestions and built the feature independently.

With this, ShortsTV is the first ever curated platform for short stories and films in Nepal, providing over 900 hours of unconventional and captivating short format stories.

    The service will be available to all subscribers as part of the Basic Pack and will feature a promising line-up of 4,000+ premium titles, including the best of Oscars, BAFTA and Cannes along with popular Indian short films. Subscribers can look forward to an exciting mix of award winning and nominated short films covering a variety of genres including comedy, drama, thriller, mystery, crime and adventure amongst others in specially curated one-hour programming blocks. This premium offering will be available to subscribers as a linear channel on their television and the buddy mobile app of DishHome.

    Wiggles

    Fast-growing pet care brand Wiggles launched a first-of-its-kind Christmas carol  #WiggleBells asking pet parents to make their fur babies a part of the festivities. 
    Prior to the #WiggleBells campaign, Wiggles also rolled out a social media initiative as a run-up to Christmas to drive engagement and excitement among pet parents across India through its Wiggles Tribes social community. As part of the ongoing campaign, pet parents will get an opportunity to win 100 kgs of Wiggles YKibble – newly launched oven-baked dry food for active and senior dogs. The contest campaign has already engaged over 2,500+ pet parents across India within its first three days of going live.

    One of the most iconic confectionery brands from the house of Perfetti Van Melle – Chupa Chups rolled out its new digital campaign #FunKaBooster, which is rooted in its philosophy of ‘Fun is for life, and not just for kids,’ to mark the Christmas fervour. The two digital-0nly films have been conceptualised by Ogilvy. 

    Winkies

    Cake specialist Winkies has also baked a fresh campaign with Enormous Brands to ‘Sweeten The Season.’ The ad film focuses on how we will celebrate Christmas during the pandemic and has a bigger concept – Bodo Din, Bodo Mon, which is about sharing joy and cheer during Christmas.

    MUMBAI: ShortsTV, the world’s first 24/7 channel dedicated to short films, has appointed Pratik Bhivagaje as partnership and marketing manager for South Asia. He will be driving growth for ShortsTV in the South Asia market by forging business partnerships & increasing distribution. He will also lead marketing efforts to establish ShortsTV as a key player in the short form content space. His previous stint was with Tata Sky as Content Manager.

    Welcoming Bhivagaje to ShortsTV, ShortsTV chief executive Carter Pilcher said “We’re thrilled to be joined by Pratik. He is an exceptional talent, a clever marketer with critical discernment in content marketing & acquisition.
