    MUMBAI: Chaos and laughter are guaranteed when Shin chan is in the picture! 

    The most unpredictable five-year-old is all set to hijack fans’ Saturdays with his signature mischief and unforgettable antics. Starting 14 December, Sony Yay! is set to unveil a month-long movie block at 1 pm featuring four hilarious Shin chan adventures, promising endless entertainment for the whole family.

    The first of these, according to company release is The Singing Bomb, where Shin chan’s off-key melodies will leave  audiences in stitches. On 21 December, it’s time to groove with DanceAmigo, featuring Shin chan’s wild moves and unmissable charm. On 28 December, Buri Buri 3 Minutes Charge brings a whirlwind of hilarity as Shin chan’s quick thinking saves the day. Bringing up the rear  is The Adventures of Kasukabe Boys on 4 January, a comical journey with Shin chan and his gang.

    Whether inventing goofy excuses to skip a bath or creating chaos wherever he goes, Shin chan’s antics never fail to entertain. With his quirky parents, adorable baby sister Himawari, and ever-loyal dog Shiro, this movie block is a recipe for pure, unfiltered fun.

    MUMBAI: Keeping in mind, the youth as the target, India’s English lifestyle TV channel NDTV Good Times has revamped itself to show a charismatic, vibrant new look. A slicker look, energetic anchors and edgier shows is what is planned to engage the gen Y.

     

    Innovatively, a hashtag sign has been introduced in the tagline to integrate social media with the channel name. #LiveYoung will define the channel. NDTV Good Times along with hangout place Shiro will run an online contest to shower four lucky winners with a chance to join the celebrity party. The Shiro and NDTV Good Times twitter handles will be running contests for the #LiveYoung party.

     

    Speaking on the occasion, NDTV Good Times channel head Arati Singh said, “With an increasingly maturing lifestyle space in India at an inflection point, and as pioneers/leaders in that space, we are redefining the lifestyle entertainment category codes by now catering to the youth and focusing on food, travel and fashion. Our content, look, feel and packaging will now clearly reflect this change. In the new avatar, the channel will take a fresher, edgier and more relevant approach to its programming targeted towards the young and the young at heart, and this association will also help us further our relations in the world of entertainment and hospitality.”

    Resident DJ Roane Acey has proved to be quite the superstar! He will represent India at the Disco Mix Club (DMC) World DJ Championships set to be helped in October this year.  Roane was chosen as the winner by an esteemed jury comprising Luke Kenny, DJ A-Myth and Sumit Shenoy at the India Finale held in August.

     

    One of the most popular resident DJs at Hard Rock Cafe and Shiro, India, DJ Roane has numerous loyal fans walk in on ‘Rock Your Fridays’ night at Hard Rock Cafe  for his collection of the choicest rock and an even larger following at Shiro where he knows exactly which songs get the crowds moving. Roane battled it out with 13 top DJs from all across the country to be crowned national winner.

     

    Roane began his career at the age of thirteen in the city of Mumbai, India. In his early days he experimented with hip-hop and R ‘n’B and the turntable style. His contagious energy and refreshing music earned him accolades at each platform he performed – colleges, lounges, clubs, private parties – DJ Roane had a fast growing fan base.

     

    Having a come a very long way since then, he has opened for a number of international acts such as WHY NOT, Daniel Bedingfield, Simon Webbe from the band Blue, Wyclef Jean, Jay Sean, Prime Circle, Saving Abel, a four city tour with DJ Bob Sinclair, two city tour with ‘Yves La Rock’ as the opening DJ for them, Sean Kingston, Kardinal Official, Karl Wolf, Raghav, ‘DJ Judge Jules’ and many others. His involvement with JSM had given him many golden opportunities to spread the joy of his music across the world. Things can only get louder and better.
