    MUMBAI: Belly laughs meet belly health. Shin chan is now on a mission to care for kids’ tummies.Yakult Danone India has roped in the mischievous Japanese cartoon character for a nationwide campaign to promote children’s gut health, timed perfectly with the India release of Shin chan: the spicy kasukabe dancers on 26 September.

    The drive blends fun with facts, highlighting how poor digestion affects nearly 30 per cent of Indian children, often lowering immunity, energy and nutrient absorption. Using Shin chan’s cheeky charm, the campaign explains why a healthy gut can help youngsters stay energetic, strong and happy.

    “Our association with Shin chan gives us an incredible opportunity to highlight Yakult’s core message on gut health in a fun, relatable way,” said Yakult Danone India  managing director Eiji Amano. “By starting these conversations early, we can inspire healthy habits that last.”

    The campaign is live across television and digital platforms including Youtube, Jio Cinema, MX Player, Zee5 and Airtel Xstream, alongside outdoor branding, hoardings and on-ground activations in cities from Delhi NCR and Mumbai to Hyderabad, Indore and Guwahati.

    Yakult Danone director – sales, pr & marketing Taku Otsuka added, “Gut health is vital for lifelong wellness. With Shin chan’s storytelling and Yakult’s science-backed probiotic, we’re making digestive health simple and fun.”

    By combining science, entertainment and a dose of Shin chan’s humour, Yakult hopes to make gut health a household conversation, proving that strong tummies really can lead to stronger kids.

    MUMBAI: Chaos and laughter are guaranteed when Shin chan is in the picture! 

    The most unpredictable five-year-old is all set to hijack fans’ Saturdays with his signature mischief and unforgettable antics. Starting 14 December, Sony Yay! is set to unveil a month-long movie block at 1 pm featuring four hilarious Shin chan adventures, promising endless entertainment for the whole family.

    The first of these, according to company release is The Singing Bomb, where Shin chan’s off-key melodies will leave  audiences in stitches. On 21 December, it’s time to groove with DanceAmigo, featuring Shin chan’s wild moves and unmissable charm. On 28 December, Buri Buri 3 Minutes Charge brings a whirlwind of hilarity as Shin chan’s quick thinking saves the day. Bringing up the rear  is The Adventures of Kasukabe Boys on 4 January, a comical journey with Shin chan and his gang.

    MUMBAI: A summer blockbuster line up of four brand new shows and seasons named named ‘Atchoo’, ‘ Munki and Trunk’ and ‘Zak Storm’, in addition to ‘Astro Forice’ which has megastar Amitabh Bachchan in an animated superhero avatar are to commence on Amazon Prime Video this summer.

    Kids can also watch a brand new series of Baahubali: The Lost Legends every week. This commenced on 19 May. In addition to these new shows, kids can also indulge in brand new seasons of their favourite shows like Shin Chan, Ninja Hattori, Doraemon, andOggy & the Cockroaches along with Amazon Original shows like Just Add Magic, Tumble Leaf and many others.

    Family time gets even more exciting with family movies like The LEGO Movie, X-Men, The Avengers, and The Adventures of Tintin and many others.

    The story of Teo, a 9 year old boy with a strange way of expressing his emotions: he turns into an animal every time he sneezes. How his transformation essentially creates troubles in his life is essentially the crux of the plot of the show, which is available in English and Hindi.

    Astra Force

    The first animated show featuring Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role as an animated mythical hero, Astra the Immortal. When two 8-year old twins accidentally awaken an ancient super-warrior from the past, they must join him in saving the world from a new wave of giant monsters and super villains determined to rule the universe. This funny, fast-paced, action-adventure, superhero series is available in English and Hindi.

    Munki and Trunk (Season 1)

    One is Crafty, the other is caring. But they are the best of friends – no matter if they are facing rolling boulders, bouncing mushrooms or grumpy hedgehogs. Munki & Trunk in English and Hindi starts from 1 June.

    Zak Storm

    From the makers of Ben 10, Big Hero 6, Zak Storm is the new leading action franchise, set in the Bermuda Triangle with Pirates, Aliens, great adventures and comedy. Zak Storm in English and Hindi commences from 1 June.

    MUMBAI – November 24, 2016 – Amazon today announced its alliance with Japan-based TV Asahi Corporation which will make Amazon Prime Video India the exclusive subscription streaming home for some of TV Asahi’s all-time favorite kids toons – Doraemon, Shin chan, and Ninja Hattori. Available together in the territory for the first time ever on a video streaming platform, Doraemon, Shin Chan, and Ninja Hattori will be exclusive to Amazon Prime members in India with new episodes refreshed regularly.

    Doraemon is a popular Japanese manga series, created by Fujiko F. Fujio. The series has also been adapted into a successful anime series and media franchise. The story revolves around a robotic time-traveling cat named Doraemon, who travels back in time from the 22nd century to aid a pre-teen boy named Nobita Nobi.

    Shin chan, is a Japanese manga series created by Yoshito Usui. It follows the adventures of the five-year-old Shinnosuke “Shin” Nohara and his parents, baby sister, dog, neighbours, and friends and is set in Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture. An anime adaptation of the series began airing on TV Asahi in 1992 and remains on air till this day.

    Ninja Hattori is a manga series created by Fujiko Fujio A, later adapted into a television drama, an anime series, a video game and a live-action movie. The comedy actions animated series was aired on TV Asahi in the 80’s and all new episodes of the series has been produced since 2012 and is currently on air in several Asian countries.

    Chimpui is a Japanese television series created by Fujiko F. Fujio in 1985. It tells the story of a young girl named Eri and two cute aliens that come to Earth to find her to be the most precious girl to marry with their beloved prince of the planet Mal.

    MUMBAI:The series featuring the naughty antics Shin Chan that has garnered huge popularity in Europe, Latin America and the Far East, will now be brought to India. Come 19 June, Hungama TV will air Shin Chan every weekday, Monday to Friday at 5 pm.

    Viewers can witness the hilarious histrionics of the Nohara family as they struggle to cope with the hurricane, that is, their five year old son, Shin Chan.
