    Mumbai: Shamsuddin Jasani has announced he will be stepping down from the role of CEO at Wunderman Thompson South Asia.  

    Over the past two years, Jasani has accelerated the transformation of the agency to a modern day growth partner – delivering impactful solutions for clients across the entire customer journey. Under his leadership the agency won large competitive pitches including Skoda, Vivo,  Indigo, Hafele, NPCI, Rupay, Manyavar and Cult Sports, across Creative, MarTech and Commerce.

    Jasani reflected on the past two years stating: “It has been an amazing and rewarding two years at Wunderman Thompson and I’m proud of what we have achieved.     Mumbai: Wunderman Thompson has appointed Shamsuddin Jasani as chief executive officer for South Asia, effective 1 November.

    Jasani will report directly to Wunderman Thompson International CEO Ewen Sturgeon. “We are pleased to have Shams join our Wunderman Thompson leadership, and believe he is the natural successor to continue propelling our South Asia business forward,” said Sturgeon.

    The development comes on the back of chairman and group CEO – South Asia Tarun Rai moving into a new role as executive director of strategic initiatives, APAC.

    Jasani is a veteran of the industry, having launched Isobar in India in 2008 and growing it from a two-person team to over 300-strong across South Asia. Under his leadership, his team has been recognised as one of the top digital agencies under the Brand Equity Agency Reckoner and won multiple awards including ‘Digital Agency of the Year India’ for three times. Jasani was also awarded ‘Digital Agency CEO’ by Media Ace and has been featured on Impact Magazine’s ‘Digital Power 100’ list, two years in a row.

    Shamsuddin Jasani gets additional responsibility for Isobar Consulting south Asia

    NEW DELHI: Isobar group managing director – south Asia Shamsuddin Jasani has been given the additional responsibility for Isobar Consulting south Asia. He will head the division that was launched earlier this year to respond to the demand for customer-centric solutions to drive growth.

    Dentsu announced the launch of Isobar Consulting earlier in July 2020. The agency helps brands define their digital transformation strategies and construct roadmaps to unlock their business growth. Isobar Consulting is led by Priyanka Agrawal as country head. Additionally, the agency had also appointed Rahul Vengalil as chief business officer. Both Agrawal and Vengalil had been reporting to Jasani, who will continue to be based out of Mumbai.

    Jasani launched Isobar in August 2008 in India. Over the course of 12 years, he has transformed it into one of the biggest digital agencies in the country. Today, Isobar India is catering to brands across different genres.  

    He has over 20 years of experience in the digital industry and has worked for brands such as Mediaturf Worldwide and Hungama Digital in the past.

    MUMBAI: Isobar India, the digital agency from the house of Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN), has been appointed as the creative and digital partner for Diageo India.     Isobar India won the account following a multi-agency pitch and will manage the duties out of its Bengaluru office. As per the mandate, Isobar India will manage integrated communications for Diageo's Antiquity and Captain Morgan, along with the digital duties for Signature and Royal Challenge.

    MUMBAI: On the occasion of Isobar’s 11th anniversary, group MD for South Asia Shamsuddin Jasani spoke to Indiantelevision.com on ‘Media Minds’ discussing the journey that the agency has seen in the past decade and the way ahead. He also thanked the family of ‘Isobarians’ who ‘bleed orange’ and serve the agency with all that they have.

    Speaking about the transformation that the agency has seen since its inception, Jasani said, “We no longer call ourselves as a digital agency, but an agency for the digital age. We are looking at ourselves not only adding value to our clients’ digital presence but overall business as such.”

    The agency has created a number of successful campaigns amalgamating a fair mix of technology, creativity, data, and strategy. Jasani remarked that Reebok’s ‘Bruises Can Be Good’, and Maruti Suzuki’s physical and digital transformation stands as his favorites from the recent years.

    Outlining his plans for the future, Jasani noted that the agency will be investing heavily in voice technologies and AI & ML to create complete solutions for the brands. “We have started doing content marketing a few months back and will be working to build on this. We want to be a 25-30 member team next year.”

    MUMBAI: Isobar, the digital agency from the house of Dentsu Aegis Network, has announced key leadership changes across the country.

    Anadi Sah has been promoted to executive creative director, in addition to his current role of lead innovation, technology & creative. As part of this new mandate, Sah will now spearhead Isobar’s innovation and creative unit at a national level along with Isobar India chief creative officer Anish Varghese.

    Business head Gurgaon Himanshu Arora will now be associate vice president, taking in charge of the agency’s business for North region.

    Aakriti Sinha, currently director, social media, will now be national head for Isobar’s social media practice and will be responsible for scaling up the agency’s social media solutions.

    Director, business Madhura Ranade will take charge as head – branded content & partnerships, Isobar’s new service offering. She will be responsible for driving content consulting and strategy with an all-encompassing data-led approach towards platform and content recommendation to drive business results. Her role will also look after content consulting towards branded IP creation to create properties that are brand-safe, drive the brand vision and generate value.
