    A lively journey to the city of Banaras with News State UP’s ‘Shahar Banaras’

    Mumbai: News State Uttar Pradesh’s flagship conclave “Shahar Banaras” in its second edition saw a dignified line-up of speakers. An event was specially carved to discuss the development in Varanasi & how it transformed from the land of mystics to the center of the political ecosystem.

    The event witnessed the presence of the minister of industrial development, UP state president, member of parliament & minister of road transport and highways, sharing their experience of the city from the past to the present.

    The show embarked on the journey of the minister of industrial development, Satish Mahana, drawing attention towards the improvement in the industrial development of the state as well as entering the corridors of power in 2022. He also added, now politics of development and nationalism are given more importance than politics of caste and religion which used to happen before 2014.

    Followed by the session with BJP UP state president, Swatantra Dev Singh who brought the limelight to the issue of nationalism and development and how the BJP will get back the trust of the public. He said, “In BJP, leaders are not made to make disciples.”

    The platform also witnessed another lively session by member of parliament, Manoj Tiwari who has a different connection with the city Kashi. He changed the atmosphere of the conclave by tickling the audience with his wit and sung few lines of his songs. The songs sung by him became law he added. He also put forward that BJP is set to come back in UP.

    The event was concluded with the session of the minister of road transport and highways, Nitin Gadkari. Addressing the audience about the increased price of petrol & how we can counter it, he said that work is being done to make biofuel from all agricultural products. “This will not only provide cheaper fuel but will also reduce pollution. We have spoken to all the vehicle manufacturers about making flex engines that support biofuel. We are going to make this engine mandatory soon,” he added.

    Shahar Banaras: Won’t Allow Hooliganism in Educational campuses, Promises Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal

    MUMBAI: Speaking at the Shahar Banaras event organised by News Nation Network, Union Minister of Human Resource Development Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' said that the Modi government would not allow 'hooliganism' in the educational campuses in the country.

    Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel was another present as the guest at the event. The conclave was organised to mark and celebrate the spirit of Varanasi city.

    Speaking at the event, Pokhriyal said there were some elements who were trying to destroy the atmosphere of learning at our education campuses. However, these elements will not be allowed to prosper. He said parents spend a lot to send their wards to the best possible educational institutes. The Union Minister assured these parents that he will make sure the dreams of such students are not disrupted due to some 'anarchic' elements.

    Pokhriyal also said that the new education policy is promoting learning, science, research and innovation. This will start to bear fruits in next few years.

    Speaking at the event organised at Taj Ganges, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Culture and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel said that Modi government will develop Ayodhya on the model Kashi Vishwanath. Talking about the ongoing anti-CAA protests in Delhi, the Minister said that people behind violence will not be spared.
