    TV9 Festival strikes a high note with Shaan, Sachet–Parampara in Delhi

    MUMBAI: When beats meet bhajans and pop collides with pujo, you know Delhi’s in for a spectacle. The third edition of the TV9 festival of India promises to be bigger, brighter and louder, bringing together music, culture, food and fashion in a five-day carnival at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium from 28 September to 2 October 2025.

    TV9 Network, which has seen huge success with the past two editions, is upping the tempo this year with star-studded concerts, celebrity DJs, dazzling dandiya nights and Delhi’s tallest Durga Puja pandal. “With the grand success of the last two editions, we are raising the bar this year. The festival reflects the spirit of India: culture, tradition, festivity and modernity,” said TV9 Network, COO, K Vikram.

    Headlining the line-up are Bollywood favourites Sachet–Parampara and Shaan. The duo, known for chartbusters like Bekhayali, Maiyya Mainu and Raanjhan, will perform on opening night, 28 September, while Shaan, the golden voice behind classics such as Chand Sifarish and Woh Pehli Baar takes the stage on 1 October.

    But the music doesn’t stop there. Dandiya nights will keep the floor alive with a Bollywood-meets-Garba twist: DJ Sahil Gulati spins on 29 September, DJ D’ark on 30 September, and a top international DJ closes the celebrations on 2 October. Add to that day-long live acts ranging from folk and fusion to indie beats, and you’ve got a non-stop sonic feast.

    The festival, however, is not just about music. A sprawling lifestyle expo will showcase everything from handicrafts and home décor to fashion, beauty, tech and jewellery, alongside international stalls. Foodies can eat their way across the country with delicacies from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, while workshops, contests and art corners keep younger visitors entertained.

    At its spiritual heart lies the awe-inspiring Durga Puja celebrations, with rituals, décor and a towering pandal that promises to be a visual and devotional centrepiece.

    With something for everyone, whether you’re a shopaholic, a foodie, a culture buff or just chasing a great night out, the TV9 Festival of India is shaping up to be the capital’s biggest festive bash.     Mumbai: Hoopr, a music licencing company, will feature artists from diverse backgrounds, professions, and other walks of life through Hoopr Originals. The idea is to help discover undiscovered talent in India.

    Hoopr will also provide the artists with an additional chance to unlock revenue through sync. Their original tunes, which will be on Hoopr, will be accessible for users to licence and use in their videos, vlogs, and other content. In addition to helping them spread their music globally, the site will also help them get discovered.

    Hoopr is a music licencing platform that provides music that can be used across a wide variety of content, including videos and vlogs by individual creators, professional ads, TV series, movies, live game streaming, etc. The Mumbai-based company provides music that has all the appropriate licences, so anyone who uses it doesn’t have to worry about royalties, copyright issues, etc. Crucially, this means that using music from Hoopr helps users avoid takedowns and lawsuits.

    The platform features a variety of music, from contemporary Indian pop to traditional Indian classical, from electronica to music that is unique to the various rich cultures that exist across India. Subscribers to Hoopr can access 25,000 music tracks and 3,000 sound effects from artists all over India. The music on Hoopr is also completely exclusive to the platform.

    It is noteworthy to mention that many of the films that recently won awards at the India Film Project used songs from Hoopr. The artists of these songs got their due credit and recognition, which might not have happened if they weren’t on the platform.

    Dagaonkar, an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, and Meghna Mittal, formerly of Hubilo and Yessworks, launched the company in 2021, which raised $1.5 million in its seed round in December 2021.

    Hoopr added that it is seeing 100 per cent month-on-month growth in the number of users since its launch, and these users include content creators, filmmakers, enterprises, and brands across India. Some of its users include content creators such as Ashish Vidyarthi and Tanya Khanijow, along with brands such as New Jagran Media.

    Mumbai: Musical instruments company Casio India has roped in noted Indian musicians for its latest campaign #CasioMakesMusicians celebrating the 25-year legacy of the brand.

    The campaign videos shows popular singers and musicians including Shaan, Salim Merchant and Benny Dayal taking a trip down the memory lane, as they talk about their journey in the field of music. The musicians fondly recall their first Casio musical keyboard that made them fall in love with the instruments and melodies. Reminiscing his early days, Shaan recalls how his father’s keyboard encouraged him to follow his dream in music and instilled hope in him to own a similar instrument one day.

    The campaign highlights how the brand contributed to the world of music by inculcating creativity and learning through different stages of life. “In the past 25 years, it has attempted to encourage young music enthusiasts to take a chance and venture into the harmonious world of musical learning.     Mumbai: Animation company Cosmos-Maya has released a brand-new title audio signature for its show “Selfie With Bajrangi” (SWB). The show is awaiting the release of its next season, and the makers celebrated the creative transition of the series with all-new earworms in Tamil and Telugu – penned and composed by music industry veterans Sameer Anjaan and Raju Singh respectively – with popular Bollywood singer Shaan humming the Hindi version of the tune.

    The show which has already released over a massive 300 episodes within four years, is a successful Cosmos-Maya IP currently ruling the rating chart. It chronicles the adventures of a nine-year-old boy Ankush and his special friendship with the mystical kid Bajrangi who looks like and possesses powers like Lord Hanuman and is invisible to everyone except the protagonist.
