    ‘Dance With Me’ returns with season 2 on ZEE Café

    Mumbai: English entertainment channel ZEE Café is returning with the second season of “Dance With Me” on 22 August. The reality dance show will be aired every Sunday at 8 p.m. 

    The show has roped six sponsors including Cetaphil Bright Healthy Radiance Range, Lifebuoy and L’Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 as ‘co-powered by’ sponsors and Jeevansaathi.com, Prestige Svachh Pressure Cooker and Yamaha Fascino 125Fi Hybrid as ‘special’ partners. 

    The show will also air across 13 ZEE channels including Zee Café HD, Zee TV SD and HD, &TV HD, Zee Zest SD and HD, Big Magic, Big Ganga, Zing, Zee Tamil HD, Zee Kannada HD, Zee Marathi HD, and stream on ZEE5.

    The launch of the new season is accompanied by a promo campaign that features Shakti and Mukti Mohan performing extraordinary dance acts and setting the tone for the season. The second season of the show will showcase 50 stellar dance performances, said the channel.

    The first season of “Dance With Me” garnered more than 23 million cumulative reach across ZEE Café and ZEE TV and the show’s hook step challenges thrown by celebrity dance experts received over 8.7 million impressions, shared the channel. “Combined with the unique interactive experience via TV and social, the show offered deep integrations for the brands who partnered with ZEE Café for the festive offering,” it added.

    Each episode is designed around an interesting theme and features unique talent such as a girl who has mastered dancing with a Hula Hoop, that too in a saree, or a male performer who has found a confluence of Bharatnatyam and Hip Hop. With fifty such performances, this show is sure to astonish viewers with many things that have never been seen before on TV and the interactive format combining the reach of broadcast and social is sure to offer deep integrations to the brand partners, the channel said.

    ZEE Biskope announces winners of Talent Camera Action Season 2

    New Delhi: ZEE Biskope has announced the winners of Season 2 of the Talent Camera Action that started off as a category-first virtual talent hunt on the occasion of Camera Day last year.

    Over 22,000 entries were received from across the region and beyond, where viewers shared their talent videos in the run to make their way to the Bhojpuri movie industry. According to the channel, each of the participants exuberated abundance of talent and the jury had a tough time selecting the best among the best. “Because of the humongous response, we decided to gratify more participants and showcased selected videos on ZEE Biskope on two consecutive weekends – 18 July & 25 July between 12 noon- 6 pm,” it said in a statement.  

    Action Star Yash Kumar & Nidhi Jha announced the names of the Winners who won a ticket to Bhojiwood on Sunday, 25 July.

    ·         Ranjeet Kumar: A trained classical singer from Katihar, Bihar, Ranjeet aspires to be a professional singer who could mesmerize the world with his melodious voice. He impressed the jury with his rendition of Pawan Singh’s ‘Basanti Bahar Bahal Sarso Phulail’.

    ·         Pragalbh Ojha: An actor at heart residing in Gaya, Bihar, Pragalbh has pruned his acting skills from Institute of Creative Excellence by Balaji Telifilms Ltd in Mumbai. His monologue on an emotional outburst of a gangster to his mother expressed his appreciable skills in acting.

    ·         Aakashdeep Sharma: A dancer from Mangolpuri, Delhi, Aakashdeepis a trained dancer, choreographer and an instructor in a dance academy in Delhi. He rendered his groovy moves on Matargashti from the film Tamasha.

    ·         Binita Singh: Hailing from Bhojpur, Bihar, Binita is an aspiring actor who found Talent Camera Action Season 2 as the platform to reach out her acting skills to the Bhojpuri audience. She performed a monologue on a commoner’s outrage on the powerful political section. 

    ·         Pragya Mishra: A singer from Ghazipur, UP, Pragya is trained in Indian Classical music and has many accolades to her credit in competitions like Akhil Bharatiya Sangeet Pratiyogeeta& Uttar Pradesh Sangeet NaatakAcaademy. She has performed on ‘Koel bin bagiyanasobhe Raja’ – a melodious number of Sharda Sinha.

    Hungama Play launches Season 2 of ‘Damaged’

    MUMBAI: Hungama Play, a leading video on demand platform owned by Hungama Digital Media, has launched the second season of its blockbuster Hungama Original, ‘Damaged’. Like the first season, Damaged 2 is a psychological crime drama with a strong female character at the helm of the story. This season features a new story with Hina Khan and Adhyayan Suman in the lead, and has an added thrill of supernatural elements. The show is directed by Ekant Babani and is now available to stream on Hungama Play and partner networks.

    The season follows Gauri Batra (Hina Khan) and Akash Batra (Adhyayan Suman) who run a homestay together. While all may seem idyllic in their beautiful guest house, things begin to unravel when a little girl visiting the homestay goes missing. Investigations begin, suspects emerge and it is soon learnt that the disappearance is not an isolated event. As the prime suspects, Gauri and Akash’s twisted life comes under the scanner and their secrets soon become public. What are Gauri and Akash hiding? What are the strange noises that come from their house? Is Gauri hallucinating or is she really haunted by a ghost?     Like the previous season, Sell Me The Answer will run through 80 episodes. Participants have been selected through an audition process, a written exam, interview and a phone in.

    The show has popular Malayalam actor Mukesh as the celebrity quiz master to conduct the show. Mukesh was also the quiz master for season one. Mukesh is already hosting a comedy show on Asianet titled Badhai Bunglow.

    The quiz based show demands that the contestant to utilize both their IQ and EQ. Asianet says that the format of Sell me the Answer on Asianet is unique and different from the previous quiz shows as the show gives opportunity for both the contestants and the traders to win the prize money, with their knowledge as well as confidence. As per the format, there are 10 questions, 10 answers and one can answer these questions with or without the help of traders.

    MUMBAI: After a very successful first season, Peggy Carter and her partners-in-solving-crime, Howard Stark and Edward Jarvis are returning with another thrilling season of Marvel’s Agent Carter. Watch the new episodes alongside the show’s US premiere only on Star World and Star World HD day-and-date starting 23 January 2016 every Saturday at 9 pm. 

     

    The second season of the American television series Agent Carter, which is inspired by the films Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and the Marvel One-Shot short film of the same name, features the Marvel Comics character Peggy Carter as she moves to Los Angeles to deal with the threats of the new atomic age in the wake of World War II, gaining new friends, a new home, and a potential new love.

     

    Speaking of the latest season, Hayley Atwell who plays the flamboyant character said, “On the surface, I think, there’s something about the light. We’re in L.A., so there’s a lot more sunshine,” she noted about the show set-up moving from New York to L.A.  “There’s the glamor of Hollywood and the film noir kind of the L.A. Confidential-esque feel to it.  We have that dark underbelly of L.A. in the 40s that would involve gangsters and serial killers,” she concluded.
