    ATKT.in associates with Star Movies to showcase youth talent on My Star Movies at 9

    Mumbai: ATKT.in, a college content entertainment platform announced their association with Star Movies, home to the biggest blockbusters. As a part of this association, ATKT will help amplify the search for young, talented movie fans in who will create special videos as a tribute to their favourite Hollywood blockbusters for ‘My Star Movies at 9’.

    ‘My Star Movies at 9’ recognizes the spirit of young movie buffs and their love for Hollywood films. The selected talent created tributes to their favourite blockbuster describing what they love most about it through music, poetry, and dance lead. These videos will be played on the channel, as well as the various social media platforms of Star Movies and their partners, including ATKT.in. ATKT will promote the campaign to over six lakh college students across 800 colleges.

    Channel [V] appoints Anirban Bhattacharyya as executive producer

    MUMBAI: Channel [V] has appointed Anirban Bhattacharyya as the executive producer. In his current assignment, Bhattacharyya will provide direction for creation of original programming for the channel, according to an official statement.

    He began his career almost a decade ago with TV18. He then moved on to join Channel [v] in 1999 where he worked on various youth, lifestyle, travel and celebrity centric shows- some as iconic as Channel [v] Popstars and [v] Freedom Express.

    His most recent assignment was with Walt Disney Television International (India) where he spearheaded the creation of local non-fiction content, informs the release.

    “Anirban Bhattacharyya’s appointment strengthens the senior management team. His energy and creativity will rev up the [V] posse, and help keep us at the cutting edge of hot content” states Channel [V] VP content & communication Saurabh Kanwar.

    MUMBAI: Saurabh Kanwar has been appointed as the vice president content and communication at Channel [v]. Kumar comes from Radio City, where he was the marketing head.

    On taking up this new challenge, Saurabh Kanwar says, “Channel [v] is home to the country’s hottest creative team. It’s a real trip to get a chance to work with this gang, stretching the boundaries of irreverent, outrageous content. But, the truth is, I have this huge crush on Lola Kutty, and this is my only way of getting real close to her.”

    Commenting on Saurabh’s appointment, Channel [v] head honcho Amar K Deb said, “Bringing ground-breaking content to viewers is Channel [v]’s top priority.
